Abstract/Summary:
Science, Engineering, Technology and Math will progress enormously over the next year. However with so much new information and technology tools, the process of learning these new sciences and technologies and how to use them are not progressing as much as the development of the technologies and science that are being created. This research presents a game based learning environment tool that focuses on a small issue within computer science. The issue is slow process of learning programming. This research focuses on a small portion of programming, control structures. STEM areas use this tool in any discipline to improve student-learning outcomes in the programming languages is a goal. The goal of game-based learning is to extend the new technique to support learners' in-depth understanding of programming other than the lecture-based education. This research designs a model to impact students learning in the process of learning. Additionally this research investigates how game based learning can be implemented to promote the study of computer science throughout schools of all ages, to determine how game based learning can be developed to make the teaching and learning to be more interesting and encourage participation among high school students. Upon the goals, the objective of this research is to realize new and more effective techniques to improve learning outcomes for programming other than those of the traditional techniques.;KEY WORDS: learning paradigms, programming language.
