In the west of Xiangshan uranium ore field,the largest volcanic type uranium ore field in China,Julong'an uranium deposit locates at the southern margin of suture zone of Huanan plate and Yangtze plate.Julong'an uranium ore bodys are mainly occurred in rhyodacite,porphyroclastic lava and subgranitic porphyry,drived by fracture and fissure,which appeared as steep dip vein type and vein-group-type,whose scale are generally small in size.The length extension of ore bodys is not big both in strike with NE and in dip with SE.Through analyses of basic geological exploration data of Julong'an uranium deposit,on the basis of geological study of ore bodys,this article established the geological database of Surpac,including borehole data,lithologic data and sample data.Using the three-dimensional display of Surpac,visualization of 3d space data of boreholes laid the foundation of digital mine construction.Based on geological profiles of exploratory line,ore body models,terrain models,lithology models and fracture models were built.Spatial relation of ore body models and fracture models showed the feature of fracture-controlling,and spatial relation of ore body models and lithology models proved the feature of interface-controlling of volcanic strata.According to the principles and methods of geostatistics,this paper studied the distribution and variation law of Julong'an uranium deposit's grade data.Applying the variation function,variation function models of composite samples were built on ore bodys strike direction,dip direction and thickness direction.Using ordinary kriging method and block interpolation technology in Surpac,this paper estimated that Julong'an uranium deposit contains resources of 3916.20 t.In the process of detailed survey of Julong'an uranium deposit,through geological ore block method,Uranium Geological Survey of Jiangxi Province estimated that Julong'an uranium deposit contains resources of 4520.0t.The results of resources are about thirteen percent difference.Combining the verification technology of block models' value,for three ore bodys having been exposed in exploration sampling process,resources' errors comparisons of these two methods proved this estimation of Julong'an uranium deposit's resources is more accurate and reasonable.This work apply geostatistics method to estimate the resource of uranium deposit in the software platform of Surpac for the first time,whose process was frequent and efficient,whose result was scientific and reasonable,being beneficial to promote the application and development of geostatistics principle in the practical exploration and design process of uranium mine.
