After the strategy of building a powerful marine country is put forward,the demands such as the marine environmental monitoring,the underwater resource exploitation the military activities,etc.are increasing.Because of the robustness and scalability of the underwater acoustic cooperative sensor network(UWACSN),it can be widely deployed according to the different application scenarios.However,the characteristics of the underwater environments and the underwater channels are with complexity and uncertainty,which leads to a lot of invalid transmission and energy consumption of the underwater sensor node.Meanwhile,it is difficult to charge or replace the underwater sensor node due to the limited energy supply.As a result,the energy optimization problem has become one of the most urgent and critical problems for the development of the UWACSN.In this thesis,we study on the energy optimization scheme for the UWACSN from three perspectives and hope to prolong the network life time on the premise of a good network performance.The main contents of this thesis are as follow:1.We make an introduction of the research status of the underwater acoustic cooperative communications,the networking technology and the energy optimization technology.Then we analyze the relevant characteristics of the underwater acoustic sensor networks.2.From the perspective of constructing network topology,we propose an improved clustering algorithm in the energy optimization scheme.The experimental result shows that the proposed scheme can make the UWACSN work in a good communication performance with a relatively long network life time.3.From the perspective of improving network data transmission strategy,we propose a node power allocation method in the energy optimization scheme.The simulation result demonstrates that the proposed method can effectively reduce the overall energy consumption of the UWACSN,and prolong the network life time at the same time.4.From the perspective of improving end-to-end transmission quality,we propose an environment-awared communication quality prediction method.The analysis of the lake experimental result proves that by combining the perceived environmental parameter characteristics and the communication system parameter settings,it can improve the success rate and reliability of the transmission link by using the logistic regression prediction method that belongs to machine learning.Hence the proposed method can reduce the energy waste caused by the multiple retransmissions so as to achieve the goal of optimizing the energy of the UWACSN.
