Underwater sensor networks are becoming more and more important in various applications of underwater monitoring and resource exploration.Monitoring the concentration of pollutants,collecting underwater data from water bodies,preventing disasters,and providing assistance in navigation and surveillance are some of the important applications of underwater sensor networks.However,underwater sensor networks have limitations such as limited communication range and low battery power.Moreover,damage to a single node will also have a great impact on the entire network.Therefore,how to overcome the shortcomings of these underwater sensor networks has become our primary consideration.Among them,how to plan node deployment to maximize network coverage under limited conditions is the content of our research.The coverage rate can reflect to a certain extent whether we can better monitor the measured sea area.That is,the monitoring degree of the underwater sensor network deployment area determines the overall life of the underwater sensor network.By planning and deploying nodes,the nodes can be better utilized,thereby increasing network coverage.This article first introduces the current status of seabed observation networks in various countries at home and abroad,and investigates and summarizes the current seabed observation networks in various countries.And introduced the research background of underwater sensor network and the application field of underwater sensor network technology.Then,based on the understanding of underwater sensor network,we understand the research status of underwater sensor network coverage algorithm at home and abroad.It proves the significance of studying the coverage of underwater sensor network.And a brief introduction to the main research content of the thesis.After understanding the relevant background knowledge,classify the underwater sensor network coverage methods and node planning and deployment.On the basis of understanding the coverage method,the related performance indicators that affect the coverage effect are introduced.The research in this article is also based on these performance indicators.At the same time,a related model that will be used in network coverage is established.Including perception model,node energy consumption model,node communication transmission model.In this paper,the related work for the coverage optimization of underwater sensor network is firstly explained the classic virtual force algorithm.In addition,MATLAB simulation experiments were performed on the virtual force algorithm,and the advantages of the virtual force algorithm in terms of related performance were compared.Through simulation experiment analysis,the shortcomings of some classic virtual force algorithms are found.Aiming at the shortcomings analyzed,a corresponding coverage optimization algorithm-a virtual force and particle swarm combination algorithm(VF-PSO)is proposed,and related models are added to the coverage optimization algorithm,including node selection and scheduling.Models,coverage hole repair models and obstacle sensing obstacle avoidance models lay the foundation for improving the coverage of underwater sensor networks.The combination of coverage optimization algorithms and related models is more conducive to the planning and deployment of node locations.At the same time,the optimized virtual force algorithm and the implementation process of the algorithm are explained in detail.Through the optimized virtual force acting on the hydroacoustic node,the node planning and deployment are optimized,and the network coverage rate is maximized as much as possible to make up for the network hole.Finally,the MATLAB simulation experiment verifies the advantages of the optimized virtual force in terms of energy consumption,coverage,and node movement distance.On the basis of the simulation experiment,the experimental platform of the hydroacoustic communication node is built,and the hydroacoustic communication node is verified by the marine experiment.The communication experiment of the underwater acoustic node and the coverage experiment of the underwater acoustic node are carried out respectively.And analyze the pros and cons of the experiment.
