Land consolidation is an important means to optimize land use and realize the dynamic balance of total arable land in China.Most places regard raising the area of cultivated land,increasing the output rate of cultivated land and improving the infrastructure of agricultural production as the main objectives of land consolidation,while ignoring the protection of ecological environment.From an ecological point of view,land consolidation is actually a process of breaking the original ecological environment system through complex system engineering measures and then rebuilding the new system.The impact of land consolidation on regional ecological environment is inevitable.In order to reduce the ecological impact of project implementation and promote sustainable development,it is imperative to introduce ecological concept into the planning and design of land consolidation.In this paper,landscape ecology theory,ecological economy theory,sustainable development theory and human-land coordination theory are applied to study the adverse effects of land consolidation on regional soil,vegetation,water resources,water environment,agricultural ecosystem and other environmental factors and their ecological processes.On this basis,from the perspective of species diversity and ecological sustainability,an empirical study was conducted on the planning and design of the land consolidation project in Shihu Village,Gangshang Town,Nanchang County.Through the research on the ecological planning and design of the five major projects,the conclusion was drawn:(1)The planning and design of land leveling project based on ecological concept can avoid the occurrence of soil erosion,effectively maintain soil fertility and protect wildlife habitat.In this study,through local land leveling,topsoil stripping and backfilling,and retaining existing pits and ponds,the disturbance of land consolidation on soil and vegetation was reduced,and the habitats of microorganisms,animals and plants were protected.(2)The planning and design of irrigation and drainage projects based on ecological concept can protect the habitats of wild animals and plants,continue the ecology of soil and hydrology,and reduce the fragmentation of natural ecological environment.In this study,through the design of building 7 soil bucket ditches and 67 soil agricultural ditches and rebuilding 5 ecological ditches,the ecological environment damage caused by concrete was reduced.(3)The planning and design of field road engineering based on ecological concept can reduce the blocking effect of roads on natural organisms and meet the needs of living beings and communication.In this study,the design of ecological pavements,such as gravel and plain soil,was adopted for the intermediate road and the production road respectively to avoid the separation or obstruction of the agricultural ecosystem by the road,effectively protect the living environment,and open up biological communication and escape routes.(4)The planning and design of farmland protection and ecological environment protection projects based on ecological concepts can enhance the natural purification capacity of ecological ditches and protect wildlife.In this study,biomimetic base plates,biohabitat channels and bioescape channels are set up on hardened ditches,and bioescape channel designs are introduced on concrete walls and cement road subgrade to provide them with places or channels for habitat,refuge and migration communication.
