This paper takes the Chang 6 reservoir in the Z well area of the Ordos Basin as the research object, and uses the comprehensive research methods of sedimentary petrology, reservoir geology and logging geology, etc.to study the Z well in the Anbian area of the Ordos Basin. On the basis of systematic division and comparison of the stratum, sedimentary facies and sand body distribution characteristics of the Chang 6 reservoir, the characteristics of the reservoir are systematically studied. It is believed that the Chang 6 in the Z well area of Anbian area mainly develops the delta front subfacies, and the microfacies are mainly composed of underwater distributary channels, estuaries, underwater natural dikes and distributary bays. From the perspective of the distribution characteristics of sand bodies in Chang 6 reservoir, the development of sand bodies is affected by the distribution of sedimentary microfacies. The areas with well-developed sand bodies are mainly in the central and southwestern parts. The type of reservoir sandstone is mainly feldspar sandstone, and the interstitial components mainly include authigenic clay minerals and carbonate cements;the pores of the Chang 6 reservoir are mostly feldspar dissolved pores and intergranular pores;the diagenesis of the reservoir mainly includes Compaction, pressure solution, cementation and dissolution, among which dissolution has constructive diagenesis for sandstone reservoirs. In general, from length 6~3to length 6~1,the scale of sand body development increases, the thickness increases, and the continuity becomes better. The reservoir types of the Chang 6~3layer are mainly type II and type III reservoirs. The physical properties of the Chang 6~2layer are slightly better.A few type I reservoirs appear, but most of them are type II and type III reservoirs. The Chang 6~1layer has the best physical properties, and the reservoir type is mainly type II reservoir, and part of it is type I reservoir.
