Synchronous detection and recording of neural signals and behavioral data of birds in the wild flight state has important application value for neuroscience research.The existing wired neural signal acquisition system is large in size and weight,and cannot be applied to the neural and behavioral data recording of birds in the wild flight state,which limits the in-depth understanding of the brain mechanism of the birds in the free movement state.In response to the above problems,this paper developed a bird distributed wearable neural signal detection and recording system,which can simultaneously record the neural signal,attitude data,and GPS positioning data of the bird in the wild flight state,which overcomes the previous bird neural signal Collecting the limitations affected by the environmental space provides effective tools for the research fields of bird navigation,cognitive brain mechanism,and animal robots.The main work of this paper is divided into the following contents:(1)This paper systematically analyzes the requirements of synchronous detection and recording of neural signal and behavior data of birds in field flight,and designs the overall framework of synchronous detection and recording system of neural signal and behavior data.Firstly,the research progress and existing problems of neural signal detection and recording system at home and abroad are summarized;Then,the key points and difficulties in the development of neural signal detection and recording system for birds in field flight are analyzed,and the research idea of this paper is established;Finally,the specific requirements of the system are proposed,the overall framework of the system is designed and the specific software and hardware design scheme of the system is formulated.(2)A distributed wearable neural signal detection and recording system for birds is developed,which can record the neural signals and behavior data simultaneously.Firstly,according to the hardware design of the system,the selection of power management unit,neural signal acquisition unit,attitude measurement unit,GPS positioning unit,data storage unit and core processing unit is completed;Then the system circuit diagram and PCB design are completed,and the hardware development of the whole system is realized;Finally,according to the software design of the system,the program of the whole system is completed on the core processor stm32l471ret6 in the stm32 cube ide development environment,which mainly solves the problem of stable and fast data transmission and recording in the case of high-speed and large amount of data flow.(3)The performance test of the system was completed in the field environment.Firstly,the simulation test of the developed system is carried out to prove the effectiveness of the neural signal and behavior data detection record under ideal test conditions;Next,the system is tested in vivo under the condition of birds flying in the field.The results show that the system developed in this paper can stably and effectively record the neural signals and behavioral data of birds flying in the field.
