With the ever deepening of reform and opening up policy,Chinese financial sector has undergone thorough changes.In the past few years,communication and information technologies,especially Geographical Information technology developed at a fast speed like never before.Despite the online banking service is expanding to a large scale,traditional outlets of banks are still served as the main resource of attracting customers,enlarging business volume and making profits.Traditional outlets can not be replaced by online banks in a short term.In face of the ever changing social-economical environment and fierce competition,under the background of the ever-deepening internet financial service and rising cost of real estate and human resource,scientific outlets arrangement and optimal management of existing outlets are of vital importance.This thesis studies the geographical information of 36 outlets of ICBC Beijing Branch.Based on theories and documents,with the achievements by others' GIS(Geographical Information System)study,the thesis sets up the evaluation index system for arrangement of bank outlets,adopting multiple linear regression model to build mathematical models to analyze and evaluate geographical factors of existing regional outlets.Therefore,the conclusion of the thesis will provide scientific base for bank outlets arrangement.Finally,by robust analysis,the thesis tests the key geographical factors for bank outlets arrangement.As a conclusion,three factors-population around bank outlets,price of real estate nearby and the number of large-scale malls-will greatly affect bank's profits.This provides reference to the decision making of bank outlets arrangement.Based on the findings,the thesis gives advice to bank outlets arrangement,which will help improve the performance of banks.
