In recent years,the scale of postgraduate enrollment in China has continued to grow.Last year,the Ministry of Education issued an article emphasizing the improvement of the quality of master's education,and the quality of dissertation is an important standard to measure the quality of training.Therefore,the quality evaluation system of the master's thesis is very important.However,there are few quality evaluation systems suitable for master's dissertation of mathematics education.On the other hand,there are many problems in the application of the current research methods of the mathematics education master's degree thesis,and the scientific nature of the research method is an important indicator of the quality evaluation of the thesis.In addition,the quality evaluation of the current thesis is mostly the use of qualitative evaluation,lack of quantitative evaluation tools.Therefore,this research aims at the establishment of a quantitative evaluation index system for the research method of the master's degree thesis in mathematics education,and perfects the quality evaluation system of the master's degree thesis.The specific research process is as follows:(1)Document combing and preliminary drafting of the indicator framework.In the early stage,it mainly combed the related literature materials such as education research methods,mathematics education research methods,education measurement and evaluation.In addition,it collects the evaluation books of master's degree theses in major universities,makes frequency statistics on the evaluation indexes,and pays attention to the indexes related to research methods.Combining literature,initially constructed an evaluation indicator framework for the research methods of master's degree thesis in mathematics education.(2)Screening indicators and assigning indicator weights.Experts in mathematics education are invited to review and screen the indicators.In addition,a questionnaire on the relative importance of evaluation indicators is issued to experts,and the weights are calculated according to the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),and the evaluation criteria are improved and formed the final indicator system.(3)Application of evaluation index system for testing.The method of stratified random sampling is adopted,and 100 mathematics education master's thesis of two types of 10 normal colleges in the past five years are selected for text analysis.Two final evaluations are constructed Based on the scale,each dissertation will be graded in detail.Finally,the scoring data of each index of the 100 dissertations will be statistically analyzed to quantify the application of the master's degree thesis in mathematics education.The"Mathematics Education Master's Thesis Research Method Evaluation Index System" constructed by this research contains 3 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators and 24 third-level indicators.The"Mathematics Education Master's Thesis Questionnaire Survey Method Evaluation Index System" contains 4 Two first-level indicators and 17 second-level indicators.According to the corresponding evaluation standards and index weights,the dissertation is quantitatively tested,and SPSS is used for statistical analysis to get the following conclusions:(1)The overall situation of the evaluation of the research methods of the thesis is good,but the polarization of the score is serious,there is still more room for improvement,and there are few excellent cases.(2)There are significant differences in the evaluation of thesis research methods among different types of schools.Regarding the overall evaluation of research methods,first,there are significant differences between the subordinate and provincial normal universities.The overall score of the subordinate normal universities is significantly higher than that of the provincial.Second,regarding the first-level indicator scores,the two are in the"research methods" There are significant differences in the index scores of "choice of research methods" and "application of research methods",but not significant differences in the index scores of"analysis of research data".Regarding the overall evaluation of the questionnaire survey method,first,there are significant differences in the scores of the subordinate and provincial normal colleges.The overall score of the subordinates is significantly higher than that of the provincial.Second,regarding the scores of the first-level indicators,the two are in the"preliminary questionnaire" There is a significant difference in the scores between"Preparation" and "Questionnaire Data Analysis",and the subordinates are significantly higher than the provincial subordinates.There is no significant difference in the scores of "Trial revision of the questionnaire" and "Formal implementation of the questionnaire".(3)The evaluation of some final indicators of the research method of the thesis is notidealFor the three-level indicators of the total scale,"matching with the research topic","fitting with specific research issues","relevance and diversification between research methods","clear research overall","self-editing and the scores of the three-level indicators such as the adaptability of existing tools,reasonable inferred statistical processing,and standardized software operations are generally low,even with a D level,which needs to be strengthened.For the evaluation of subscale secondary indicators,"the purpose of the questionnaire is clear","the questionnaire is designed reasonably","the quality statistical analysis is scientific","the survey sample is clear","inferred statistical processing is reasonable","statistical software trial standard" The overall scores of such two-level indicators are low and need to be improved.
