| Because of its small size,high electro-optic conversion efficiency and simple optical shaping system,semiconductor laser has a broad application prospect.Semiconductor lasers usually use multiple light-emitting units to achieve high-power laser output,one of which is to combine multiple single emitters diode lasers in space and couple them into fiber.This method can solve the problem of poor beam quality of semiconductor laser,and the fiber can change the direction of optical path arbitrarily,which is convenient for application.In the assembly process of multiple single emitters diode laser,due to the small size and large number of optical elements,the manual assemble accuracy and efficiency are poor,and the use of automatic adjustment equipment to participate in the assemble can greatly improve the efficiency and assembly effect.In this paper,we study the automatic coupling technology of multiple single emitters diode lasers.Using self packaged single tube semiconductor lasers and optimized process parameters,we have automatically assembled a 16 channel fiber coupled multiple single emitters diode laser with specific wavelength.The main contents are as follows:1.The optical system of fiber coupled multiple single emitters diode laser is designed.According to the beam characteristics of semiconductor laser,the four key steps of beam collimation,polarized beam combination,spatial beam combination and fiber coupling in the development of multiple single emitters diode laser are analyzed in detail and the scheme is made.According to the characteristics of single tube semiconductor lasers,two nonplanar Plano convex cylindrical lenses are selected to collimate the fast and slow axis beams;16 single tube semiconductor lasers are spatially combined by using stepped arrangement,and the combination of lenses is used for fiber coupling according to the actual needs.2.The single tube semiconductor laser is self packaged.This paper analyzes and compares the welding process involved in the packaging process of single tube semiconductor laser,completes the selection of heat sink and solder,designs the welding tooling,optimizes the packaging process parameters such as temperature and time,carries out the welding test,and completes the packaging of 16 single tube semiconductor lasers.3.Based on the AL2000-AA automatic equipment of fincon TEC company,the automatic assembly scheme is designed.Combined with the system design and the properties of the pipe core,the key technologies to realize the assembly automation operation are analyzed and designed.The process parameters in the assembly were optimized to ensure that the width of the spot was pressed to the minimum and the directivity deviation was the minimum.The assembly process is designed and the automatic assembly procedure is developed.In this paper,16 single tube semiconductor lasers are packaged,and the 16 channel multiple single emitters diode laser prototype is fabricated on fincon TEC’s AL2000-AA automation equipment.After testing,the prototype is driven by 2.8 A current,coupled into the fiber with core diameter of 105 um and numerical aperture of 0.22,and the output power is 25.9 W.The prototype has been assembled in a specific equipment,and the output power and wavelength meet the requirements. |
