The earth's oceans are vast and rich in resources.With the development of the oceans science and technology,the construction of deep-sea seabed observation network has become a hot spot of the oceans science research.Seafloor observation network realizes the networking of energy supply and information transmission,which makes it possible to explore the unknown world on the seafloor.The power supply system is the key to provide energy and data transmission for the seabed observation network.In order to ensure the long-term safe and stable operation of the seabed observation network,the stable power supply,reasonable distribution and management and fault protection are particularly important.Constant current power supply system has the characteristics of high robustness and strong fault resistance,which is suitable for the power supply system of seabed observation network.But at present,the seabed observation network in our country adopts the constant voltage power supply mode,and there is no actual research on the underwater constant current power supply system.Therefore,this paper proposes a topology of underwater longdistance constant current power supply system,and carries out theoretical analysis and simulation research from the aspects of system operation characteristics,fault protection strategy and protection measures,which is of great significance to the application and promotion of constant current power transmission system in the seabed observation network.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)According to the uninterrupted constant current power supply characteristics of the system,the network topology of underwater remote constant current power supply system is designed.The main node power branching unit and load power supply module are mainly analyzed.The working mode of power branching unit and the control strategy of load power supply module are proposed.(2)According to the different characteristics and operation conditions of underwater remote constant current power supply system,the operation mode and corresponding uninterrupted power supply scheme are discussed from two aspects of normal operation and fault operation.The equivalent mathematical model of each period is established by time domain analysis method,and the dynamic characteristics of voltage and current in each part of the system are obtained.(3)This paper studies the fault protection strategy and protection measures of the underwater remote constant current power supply system,selects the limited typical scenarios,builds the transient simulation model of the system,verifies the voltage and current characteristics of the system in each operation stage and the uninterrupted constant current power supply characteristics of the system,and verifies the feasibility of the topology design of the underwater remote constant current power supply system and the correctness of the time domain theoretical analysis.
