In this paper,The fragmentation reaction of 40Ar on Aluminum target with the highest of 500A Me V energy is investigated using the CR-39 detectors.The latest experimental results of the total charge-changing cross sections and the partial cross sections are presented.The emission angle,the transverse momentum distribution and the temperature parameters of projectile fragments(PFs)of 40Ar on Aluminum target are measured.According to the data,The relationship of the basic measurements and beam energy are discussed.The experimental results shows,the total charge changing cross sections is in agreement with the theoretical value of Bradt-Peters semi-empirical formula within experimental uncertainties.The partial cross sections increase with the increase of the charge of PFs(6?Z?17)for the same target and have no obvious odd-even effect is observed.The total cross section and the partial cross section of PFs have no obvious relationship with the beam energy,but are positively correlated with the target mass.The results show that the primary particle emission angle distribution width is smaller than the secondary particle emission angle distribution width,and the primary particle average emission angle is mostly about0.3 degrees,and the secondary particle average emission angle is about 0.9degrees.The average emission angle decrease with the increase of the charge of PF for the same target,and no obvious dependence of angular distribution on the beam energy is found for the same PF.For the same energy,the width of transverse momentum distribution and its average value increase with the decrease of charge number.For the same kind of target,the transverse momentum distribution of projectile fragments has no obvious dependence on the beam energy.The cumulated squared transverse momentum distribution of PF can be well explained by a single Rayleigh distribution,the temperature parameter of PFs emission source is obtained,which is about 0.5?9.5Me V and do not depend on the beam energy for PF with charge of 4?Z?17.In addition,the temperature of PFs emission source increase with the increase of PFs with the charge of 4?Z?8 for the same target,and There is a peak between the charge of 6?Z?8.
