This study is based on The Inheritance of Green Architectural System under the Traditional Chinese Architectural Context in the Coastal Economically-Developed Areas in China,one of the key research projects of the 13th Five-Year National Key R&D Program.Through the simulation experiment research on the outdoor wind environment of the building,it explores the optimal design strategy for the layout of multi-storey residential buildings under the climatic conditions of the cold regions around the Bohai Sea,taking shelter from wind and cold as the leading factor and taking into account summer ventilation.By extracting the form of typical multi-storey housing complexes in the Bohai Rim area,this research summarizes its different shape combination models from multiple aspects such as architectural form and spatial layout,and establishes a prototype for comparison and selection of multi-storey housing complexes to cover the Bohai Rim area.The general design law of multi-storey residential buildings,through the PHOENICS software to simulate the wind environment of different wind directions for all prototypes,summarize the prototypes that have better wind protection in winter and can take into account summer ventilation,and draw the design strategy under the corresponding wind direction combination.The introduction of the first chapter discusses the current research status of the architectural wind environment and the meaning of this research.Chapter 2 analyzes the climatic characteristics of the Bohai Rim area,and selects the case of multi-storey collective housing in the Bohai Rim area,sum up the prototype of the enclosed collective housing and the prototype of the determinant collective housing.Chapter 3 introduces the experimental principles of this research,including the setting of PHOENICS software parameters,the evaluation criteria of wind environment,and the comparison and selection steps between prototypes.Chapters 4 and 5 are the core chapters of this research.From the two scales of building composition and building clusters,the prototype winter building outdoor wind environment is simulated for different variables,and the modules with better winter wind protection are selected.In the study of the two wind directions in summer,the results were calculated separately and the corresponding design strategies under different wind direction combinations were proposed.The sixth chapter is the verification link.This paper selects a typical northern enclosed residential area,analyzes its wind environment,and uses the laws derived from this study to make appropriate improvements to it to verify the rationality of the research results.Today,with many high-rise residential areas,the study of multi-storey residential areas is of great significance for maintaining the urban style,creating flexible residential spaces,pleasant residential scales and neighborhood atmosphere.This research also provides diversification for the design of residential buildings.Perspectives and design choices.The main body of this article contains approximately 49,000 words and 163 diagrams.
