In this paper,the present situation of plant communities in difficult site slopes of expressways in Jiangxi Province was investigated.Based on the evaluation of their health status,the key factors affecting the health of plant communities were analyzed,including slope stability,aspect,species adaptability,native soil properties and slope.Based on this,the ecological vegetation restoration model of highway slope in Jiangxi Province is proposed,and the main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the plant investigation of 81 slope sample plots of 24 highways,there are 113 species or varieties of plants belonging to 104 genera and 68 families,37 species of arbors,32 species of shrubs and 44 species of herbs.Based on the analysis of the quantitative characteristics and plant diversity of slope plants,the basic characteristics of plant communities on highway slopes in Jiangxi Province were revealed,and 21 plants with the most important values were selected as the primary plants for vegetation restoration on highway slopes in Jiangxi Province.There are 7 dominant tree species,8dominant shrub species and 6 dominant herb species.(2)Through the analytic hierarchy process,the health status of the plant community on the slope was comprehensively evaluated from three aspects: ecological function,soil physical and chemical properties,and slope characteristics.According to the evaluation results,it can be known that slope stability is the most important factor affecting the health of plant communities.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was used to evaluate the health quality of 24 road slope plant communities.The results showed that the roads with “excellent” community health quality were Dechang Highway,Fuji Highway,Changli Highway and Xunquan Highway.The poor quality roads include the Wuji Highway,Jilian Highway and Jiujing Highway.The ecological restoration model of expressway slope with community health quality evaluation as“excellent”was sorted out to provide theoretical basis for building a new ecological restoration model system.(3)The current situation of rocky slope with difficulty in ecological vegetation restoration is analyzed,and the appropriate ecological restoration model of slope is proposed according to the slopes with different site conditions.The dominant tree species selected from the plant community survey were selected as the primary plants for ecological restoration.Referring to the slope ecological restoration model with better community quality evaluation,different matrix ratios and construction techniques were selected according to local conditions.
