Minimal Quantity Lubrication(MQL)cutting technology are widely used in modern processing field based on its good properties,such as cooling,Lubrication and low pollution.But cutting oil mist produced in the process of cutting pollutes air environment.Electrostatic Minimal Quantity Lubrication(EMQL)is a lubrication cooling technology based on MQL and Electrostatic spray(ES).The atomized droplets have smaller surface tension,stronger adsorption and more uniform.For these reasons,EMQL has better adsorption and cooling lubrication performance.From the perspective of protecting cutting environment air quality,this paper studies the content of two aspects: one is to analyze the adsorption properties of charged cutting liquid droplets.Another is the influence of EMQL system parameters to the cutting performance and air environmental quality.In this paper,the main work and achievements are as follows:1.Through the analysis of charged droplet in the transport process of stress and their induction charged characteristics,obtained the key forces: gravity and air resistance,electric field force,and revealed the reasons why charged droplets have better adsorption.Combined with simulation and cutting fluid charge-mass ratio experimental data,analyzed droplets' force condition to identify three areas: processing,settlement and wall.analyzed charged droplet's motion in each area.2.In the processing environment,I have studied the effects of different gas supply pressure,cutting fluid flow and charged voltage about the distribution of droplets deposition.The results showed that charged droplets are easier on the adsorption of metal targets and has better adsorption performance.Pressure,cutting fluid flow,and charged voltage have roles on the droplets deposition and they influence each other.To a certain extent,charged voltage is conducive to the settlement of droplets.3.Studied the influence of Electrostatic Minimal Quantity Lubrication system parameters(cutting fluid flow,gas pressure,charged voltage,spray angle and jet standoff distance)on the milling oil mist concentration(PM2.5 and PM10),and got the following conclusions: The impact of the voltage on the PM10 concentration is higher than PM2.5 concentrations.Determined a set of optimal trace lubricating system parameters: charged voltage 15 kV,cutting fluid flow 15 ml/h,the gas pressure 0.3 MPa,jet standoff distance 20 mm and jet Angle 45°.And in this case,relatived to 0 kV(MQL)of oil mist concentration,PM10 concentration was decreased by 12.31% and PM2.5 concentrations was decreased by 8.26%.4.Based on the optimal parameter,from milling force,tool wear,and workpiece surface roughness three aspects,using comparative analysis method,analyzed the EMQL and MQL machining effect.The results showed that under the condition of-15 kV(EMQL)after cutter blade wear VB,the milling force and the machined surface roughness were less than 0 kV(MQL).Increasing adsorption infiltration characteristics of droplets in the processing area is helpful for the improvement of the machining performance.
