As the key part in automatic ball-screw defect detection equipment,asymmetric double cone unfolding wheel has important influence on whether the steel ball can achieve full surface inspection.In the testing process,unfolding wheel wear is difficult to avoid,so it needs to be replaced regularly to ensure the detection accuracy.At present,the development of unfolding wheel mainly rely on foreign imports,and it is expensive and unable to achieve localization of processing,restricting China's high-speed high-precision bearings for further development.In view of the above problems,this paper analyzes the grinding mechanism of unfolding wheel,and adopts virtual simulation processing technology to study the processing mode of unfolding wheel.Firstly,the structural characteristics and working principle of the asymmetric double cone unfolding wheel are analyzed.Based on this,the forming mechanism of the grinding wheel is analyzed,and the forming method of the grinding process of layered tangent point follow the grinding process is determined.And further analysis of grinding process and grinding parameters is made,and the basic research is made for grinding simulation processing.Secondly,VERICUT and NX(Unigraphics NX)are combined to build virtual grinding machine.The 3D model of the grinding machine was created by NX.In the VERICUT environment,the inter-axis topology was established in which the model created by NX is imported,the virtual simulation system parameters is set up and a grinding tool is created,the wheel for virtual grinding.The above,the establishment of virtual simulation processing platform is completed and it is a prepare that for virtual grinding of unfolding wheel.Finally,according to theoretical research of the cutting-point following grinding principle,NC grinding of the asymmetric conical surface is programmed in NX environment,and the grinding trajectory is generated.Combined with VERICUT in the virtual grinding machine model for grinding simulation processing,the machining error of the model of after Simulation processing and of the theoretical model are analyzed,which finally gets to the asymmetric wheel that meets the design requirements.In this paper,the analysis of grinding forming principle of the asymmetrical conical surface and of grinding simulation of the asymmetrical conical surface is made.It is of great significance for the domestic processing and popularization of the asymmetric double cone unfolding wheel.
