In this paper,a moldless universal bending machine is designed,and the development of pre-processing software based on IGES is carried out in the process of bending the tube.Firstly,the overall scheme of the design of the pipe bending machine is briefly summarized: the 3D model of the molded pipe product designed by Solidworks is saved as the IGES file format,and then the IGES file is converted into the dieless pipe bending machine by the G code generation software designed in this paper.The G code file can be identified,and then the G code file is transmitted to the controller in the control system,and the controller controls the movement of the bender to complete the processing of the tube material.Then,the working principle of the dieless universal pipe bending machine is introduced in detail: in the feeding part,the screw is driven by the Z-axis stepping motor to drive the propulsion mechanism on the guide rail,and the propulsion mechanism pushes the end of the pipe material to advance in the Z direction.give.When the pipe material is transported into the universal ball on the X-Y table,the universal ball is moved by the table to perform the offset movement,and the bending of the pipe material is achieved by the feed motion and the offset motion.Thirdly,the bending force in the X direction and the thrust in the Z direction are analyzed,and the eccentric head portion and the feeding portion structure are detailedly designed.At the same time,according to the control requirements of the moldless universal bending machine,a control system with the motion control card as the core,the stepping motor as the execution component and the PLC as the auxiliary control system is designed.Finally,develop a software that can generate G code.The software converts the IGES file(the file format saved by the circular tube model drawn by Solidworks)into four steps of coordinate transformation,starting point coordinate extraction,reordering,and geometric information conversion to the processing code,and finally becomes directly importable into the CNC bending.G code for pipe machining.The moldless universal bending machine designed in this paper has the advantages of simple operation,no need to change the mold,and the direction of the elbow is not limited.The software for realizing the conversion from the three-dimensional drawing to the processing instruction is developed,and the degree of automation is improved.Reduced labor intensity and achieved the development of more efficient tube forming equipment.
