The application of metal wire is widely used, China has been the first superpowerin the world for metal wire production and consumption. Howerer, our country still havea big gap coMPared to the developed countries in the level of design. The domesticequipment of wire bending processing have more procedure, lower degree of integration,poor equipment flexibility, the lack of continuous processing.Aiming at thesedeficiencies,this article designe a3D numerical control bending wire machine that baseon the intelligent equipment of wire processing which imported from the developedcountries. So the paper do the research and design work as the fellow aspects.Firstly, this paper analyzed the characteristics and deficiencies of the domesticbending device and clarify about the technical requirements of the bending machine andon the basis of that determine the design scheme of overall structure of the wire bendingmachine.Then making the devices into modules model, clarify and describe the designprocess and working principle of each modules in detail. Finally making the staticssimulation analysis of its key components by using ANSYS finite element analysissoftware and design the optimized structure.Secondly, complete the coordinates transformation of the processing data on thedifferent types of coordinate according to the principle of vector curve. Establish thecorresponding mathematical model and introduce the formula of the processingparameters base on the analyse of several wires forming process. Deduced themathematical relationships between the related parameters of wire and the requiredpower of bending and shear modules that provide a reference for the selection of themotor and drive.Finally, analyze the springback phenomenon appeared in the bending process and summarize these factors which can affect the springback. Putting forward thespringback compensation method of the bending machine through the characteristics ofthis type bending device.
