The environmental pollution and resource depletion caused by mining and using fossil energy makes the future global energy crisis increasingly prominent.Developing clean energy,especially the blue energy in the ocean,will make great contributions to sustainable development of the world.In addition,the rapid development of Internet of Things and portable electronic raises higher demands for small distributed power supply and various types of sensors.In this regard,triboelectric nanogenerator,which can effectively harvest mechanical energy in the environment,was first proposed by Professor Zhonglin Wang's research group in 2012.The working principle of triboelectric nanogenerator is based on the coupling effect of triboelectrification and electrostatic induction.With numerous advantages such as simple fabrication,low cost,large power density and high energy conversion efficiency,triboelectric nanogenerator have shown great application potential in micro/nano energy sources,self-powered sensors and blue energy harvesting,etc.In this dissertation,we designed a new underwater nanogenerator and two types of self-powered sensors based on triboelectric nanogenerator for self-powered sensing and blue energy harvesting.The details are as follows:(1)A stretchable and wearable triboelectric nanogenerator based on kinesio tape has been designed and fabricated.The relationship between stretched displacements/bending angles and electrical output of the device has been demonstrated,enabling its application as a wearable self-powered sensor for real-time human motion monitoring,like knee joint bending and human gestures.(2)A UV detector based on ultra-long ZnO nanowires has been designed and fabricated.The photoelectric characteristics has been tested.Combined with triboelectric nanogenerator,a self-powered UV detector was fabricated.The working principle has been investigated.And effective detection of UV light was successfully achieved.(3)A new underwater nanegengerator has been designed and fabricated.The effects of etching time,ion concentration and pH value on its electrical output have been investigated.The working principle based on the coupling effect of electric double layer interaction and electrostatic induction was proposed.Moreover,the output performance of the nanogenerator is unacted on humidity,which has a negative effect on the electrical output of traditional triboeiectric nanogenerator,and the device can successfully work underwater.
