With the improvement of people's quality of life,consumers have higher and higher requirements for yarn quality.Ring spinning is currently the most widely used method.There are many existing methods to improve the quality of ring spinning,but there are shortcomings such as high cost and complicated auxiliary equipment.Research on methods to improve yarn quality at low cost is needed.The task is to mix low-melting polyester into the ring-spun yarn,and then the yarn is subjected to a heat treatment process to shrink or melt the low-melting fiber to improve the quality of the yarn and prepare a yarn with a self-repairing function.Through the analysis of the single yarn breaking strength,uniformity of dryness,hairiness test after observation of heat treatment and observing the surface morphology of the sample under an electron microscope,the effects of changes in the ratio of raw materials and process parameters on the structure and properties of the yarn were discussed.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Using conventional polyester fibers and low-melting polyester staple fibers as raw materials,spinning a low-melting polyester staple fiber blended yarn with a spinning ratio of7% on a spinning frame,and performing steam heat treatment in an oven.The experiments were set at different steam heat treatment temperatures of 110?,120?,130? and time1 min,2min,3min,explore the effect of steam heat treatment on yarn properties after mixing low-melting polyester staple fiber.Experiments show that the number of yarn hairiness is significantly improved after steam heat treatment.When the steam heat treatment temperature is 120? and the time is 3min,the improvement of yarn hairiness is better,and the percentage of hairiness reduction is 50.85%.At the same temperature,with the increase of heat treatment time,the variation coefficient of yarn unevenness decreases first and then increases,all of which are lower than the uniformitybefore the heat treatment.When the steam heat treatment temperature is 120 ?,the time When it is 2min,the effect of improving the uniformity of the yarn sliver is more significant,and the percentage reduction of the sliver unevenness is 17.64%.When the treatment temperature is 120?,the percentage of yarn breakage growth indicates that the strength of yarn breakage after heat treatment is higher than that before heat treatment.When the time and temperature of steam heat treatment are at 120? and the time is 1min,the percentage of yarn breakage strength is higher.It was 6.73%.(2)Using high-strength polyester filaments,conventional polyester fibers and low-melting polyester staple fibers as raw materials,spinning low-melting polyester staple fibers with a blending ratio of 5%,7%,and 10%,and setting different steam heat treatment temperatures 110?,120?,130?and time of 1min,2min,3min.After heat treatment in the oven,27 kinds of yarn samples were prepared,and the performance changes of the yarn before and after steam heat treatment were tested;the best low value was obtained through the analysis of the previous step.Melting point of polyester short fiber melting point and steam heat treatment parameters.The fiber assembly of cotton,tencel,bamboo,viscose,tencel/cotton,bamboo/cotton and low melting polyester staple fiber is used as the outer fiber,and the middle and low melting point of the outer fiber The blending ratio of polyester staple fiber is 7%,and high-strength polyester filaments are core yarns.After spinning core-spun yarn samples of 6 different outer fibers,steam heat treatment is performed to test the performance changes of the yarn before and after the treatment.Influence of yarn properties.The experimental results show that the number of yarn hairiness is significantly reduced after treatment.When the blending ratio of low-melting polyester staple fiber is 7%,the temperature of steam heat treatment is 120 ?,and the time is 2min,the yarn hairiness improvement effect is better,and the hairiness The percentage reduction is 42.28%.At the same temperature,with the increase of time,the yarn unevenness of the yarn generally decreases first and then increases,which are lower than the uniformity of the yarn before heat treatment.When the steam heat treatment temperature is 120?,the time At 2 min,the effect of improving the uniformity of yarn sliver is significant,and the percentage reduction ofuniformity is 23.05%.When the heat treatment temperature is 120?,the percentage of yarn breakage growth is positive,and when the blending ratio of the low-melting polyester staple fiber is 7%,and the steam heat treatment temperature is 120?,and the time is 2min,the yarn breakage strength increases.The percentage is larger at 6.42%.The analysis shows that the optimal process plan is a low-melting polyester staple fiber blending ratio of 7%.The steam heat treatment time and temperature are 120 ? and 2min,respectively.The number of hairiness,unevenness and breaking strength have been improved.When Tencel is used as the outer fiber,the effect of improving the unevenness and breaking strength of the fiber is more significant.When bamboo fiber is used as the outer fiber,the percentage of hairiness is reduced.high.(3)Core yarns are made of high-strength polyester filaments and low-melting polyester filaments,and polyester and cotton are used as outsourcing fibers.In the spinning ratio of two different ratios,we use cotton and conventional polyester fibers as outer fibers to spin 4 kinds of ring-spun core-spun yarns,and set different steam heat treatment temperatures of 110 ?,120 ?,130 ? and time 1min,2min,3min,after heat treatment in the oven,36 kinds of yarn samples were prepared,and the yarn properties before and after the treatment were tested and discussed.Experiments show that after steam heat treatment,the yarn hairiness number rises first and then decreases with the increase of time.At 120?,the yarn hairiness number is generally lower.When the outer fiber of the core yarn is cotton,the fineness of the low-melting polyester filament is 94 dtex,and the steam post-treatment temperature and time are 120?and 1min,the percentage of yarn hairiness decreases greatly,which is 33.81%.The overall yarn dryness unevenness increases first with the increase of heat time,then decreases or flattens.When the temperature is 120 ?,the yarn dryness unevenness is low.When the core-spun yarn is polyester,the fineness of the low-melting polyester filament is 94 dtex,and the steam post-treatment temperature and time are 120? and 1min,the effect of improving the yarn unevenness is 14.48%.When the steam heat treatment temperature is 120?,the percentage of single yarn breaking strength increase is relatively high.When the core-spunyarn is made of cotton and the fineness of the low-melting filament is 111 dtex,and the steam heat treatment time is 1min,the yarn is broken.The strength improvement effect is better,and the percentage of fracture strength increase is 6.02%.
