The crushing and sieving process and the grinding process are important production processes in the gold mining process.As the ore pretreatment stage in gold mine production,the quality of its output products will directly affect the quality and output of gold mine products.Therefore,studying the control method and control software of the crushing and grinding process not only has important practical significance for realizing the safe and reliable operation of the crushing and grinding process,but also improving the product quality and output of the gold mine,and also has important guiding significance for other metal concentrator which has crushing and grinding process.Therefore,in this paper,based on the comprehensive review of metallurgical process control methods and control system research results,the paper analyzes the mechanism of crushing and grinding processes,and proposes the control methods with loop control,logic control and process monitoring for crushing and grinding processes.Combined with the PLC control system design and development of the gold mine production crushing and grinding process control software,and the verification and debugging work and application of the control software in the actual industrial site.Long-term results indicate the effectiveness of the proposed control method and the control software developed.The main achievements are as follows:1.Through the mechanism analysis of the crushing and grinding process,the problem description of the crushing and grinding process control is given,and the problems to be solved by the development process control software are analyzed.2.A method for controlling crushing and grinding processes consisting of process loop control,logic control and process monitoring.The process loop control algorithm includes an automatic switching PID control algorithm and a compensation signal driven feed control process PI control algorithm.The automatic switching PID control algorithm consists of a rule-based reasoning switching mechanism and a one-step optimal PID controller.The PI control algorithm for the feed-feeding process driven by the compensation signal consists of a high-order nonlinear term compensator from the previous moment and its change rate compensator and a one-step optimal PI controller.The logic control algorithm consists of a logical interlocking control algorithm between the device start-stop logic control algorithm and the device.Process monitoring algorithm consists of loop control performance monitoring and alarm algorithms.3.Combined with the crushing and grinding process and the hardware and software platform consisting of engineering station,operator station and PLC control system,the proposed process control algorithm is used to design and develop the crushing and grinding process control software,which consists of loop control software,logic control software and process monitoring software.The loop control software includes data processing,automatic switching PID control algorithm for grinding water supply,automatic switching PID control algorithm for Pump pool level and compensation signal driven feeding control process PI control algorithm.Logic control software includes device start and stop logic control module,as well as a module for logical interlock control between devices.The process monitoring software includes monitoring interface,loop setting,operation record,data archiving and historical trend display,fault diagnosis and alarm display,security management,user management and communication management and so on.The loop control software and logic control software are run on the PLC control system,and the proposed loop control algorithm and logic control algorithm are implemented.The process monitoring software runs on the operator station,which realizes the monitoring and control loop setting function of the gold mine production crushing and grinding control process.4.On-site commissioning and operation through the grinding process in a gold mine in China.Verification of logic control software functions and monitoring software functions using on-site actual equipment operating signals and status signals,and verlify the function of the loop control software and the function of the monitoring software under the condition that the grinding process runs with water.On this basis,software debugging is carried out.After the debugging is successful,the control software is industrially applied.The operation results of nearly one year of operation show that the developed control software ensures the safe and reliable operation of the crushing and grinding process,controls the feed water flow rate of the grinding process,the level of grinding pump pool and the flow rate of the ball mill to the mine in the target value range,indicating the effectiveness of the control software developed.
