The continuous casting machine is usually designed for continuous casting of different thickness and quality of the slab.In order to produce different slabs,it is difficult to meet the production requirements by changing the thickness of the slab frequently by using the old type continuous casting machine.In the competitive environment of iron and steel industry,the customer requirements are high,and the wide range of application is a prerequisite for success.In order to realize this requirement,to meet a casting machine to produce different products,the sector can be required to achieve dynamic adjustment of the roll gap,even during casting.Through the automatic casting flow taper control technology,the rapid and automatic casting flow taper/thickness control can be realized,and the on-line dynamic roll gap control ability can be realized to improve the equipment operation rate and production.The purpose of this thesis is to study the hydraulic servo control system which drives the adjustment of the segment roll gap.First,the mathematical model of the fan-shaped roller-seam-regulated hydraulic servo system is derived according to the parameters of the continuous caster,the control principle of the fan-shaped roller-seam-regulated hydraulic servo system.The control system is simulated by Matlab/Simulink module.Finally,the value of PID parameter is added to PLC program for field test.The simulation and field test show that the control performance of the Fan-shaped roll joint regulating hydraulic servo system with PID control method meets the requirements of field application.The control system of the roll gap adjustment of the sector section of the slab caster and the monitoring interface,monitoring scheme,data collection strategy and monitoring points of the monitoring components are studied.The on-line monitoring system of casting machine and the client trend collection system are developed to analyze the data collected on the spot to meet the needs of on-line monitoring of the sector roll gap adjustment system.At the same time,the on-line monitoring system is used and the on-line monitoring means of the mobile terminal is used to monitor the field equipment in real time.It plays the role of supporting the data support for the early troubleshooting and the fault cause finding of the sector roll gap adjustment hydraulic servo system.
