Laser welding robot technology has been widely used in modern sheet metal component manufacturing and other fields due to its excellent characteristics such as improving welding quality and labor productivity,shortening industrial manufacturing cycle and softening process manufacturing.Aiming at the fiber laser welding robot system,this paper has proposed a system that uses the flexible motion trajectory of the domestic brand Huashu industrial robot space and the high energy output of the domestic fiber laser to complete the modern sheet metal component welding process,and has established a set of laser welding Procedure and welding process.The main contributions are described as follows:(1)Structural design of fiber laser welding robot system.The Foshan Huashu HSR-JR612 intelligent industrial 6-axis series vertical robot has been chosen as the core structure of the robot,which has a maximum load of 12 kg,a maximum motion radius of 1555 mm,and a repeatable positioning accuracy of ± 0.06mm;the RFL-C3300 multimode quasicontinuous fiber laser has been used as the laser device,which has a rated output Power3300 W,beam quality ? 5 mm · mrad,and three control modes: super terminal,RS-232 and AD.(2)Control design of fiber laser welding robot system.The robot controller has been used as the host computer system,and the integrated linkage control scheme has been realized by the RS-232 serial communication mode.During the experiment,the robot was operated in manual T1 mode,with a maximum running speed of 125 mm / s and a movement accuracy of ± 0.06 mm.(3)Design of three-dimensional process system of fiber laser welding robot.Using the fiber laser welding robot system,for the three-dimensional curved weld,a welding design scheme based on the workpiece with an acute angle intersecting line and the air-conditioning heat exchanger has been designed to solve the complex technical problem of spatial curve weld path planning.(4)Conduct laser welding experiment of stainless steel sheet metal parts.The optimal process parameters for laser welding of SUS304 stainless steel sheets with thicknesses of1 mm,1.5mm,and 2mm have been determined,respectively.They are optical power 2000 W,welding speed 2m / min,defocus amount-1mm;optical power 2500 W,welding speed 2m /min,defocus Amount-1mm;optical power 3000 W,welding speed 1.5m / min,defocus amount-1mm.Additionally,the tensile strength experiment was carried out to verify the results,and the model based on BP neural network algorithm was established for the process analysis.The research work in this paper is helpful to improve the degree of independent innovation of fiber laser welding robot system technology and promote the development and application of welding technology in the manufacture of modern sheet metal parts.
