For a long time,China's energy resource structure has the characteristics of more coal,less oil,and lack of gas.In China,70% of primary energy supply comes from coal,so the status of coal as a basic energy source is particularly prominent.In an important position.And,in the short term,its strategic dominance will continue for quite some time.Earlier,the country formulated the Strategic Action Plan for Energy Development(2014-2020)to promote China's energy innovation,security,and scientific development.The plan states that “by 2020,China 's coal consumption in primary energy will be controlled within 62%”,which means that the country has clarified the industrial policy goal of reducing production capacity,and domestic coal production capacity will be reduced.In the future,China will gradually reduce its dependence on coal demand.Driven by political,economic,environmental and other factors,the adjustment and reform of the coal industry is an inevitable trend.The coal industry is a key area to resolve overcapacity and promote supply-side structural reforms.Under the background of capacity reduction,we should accelerate transformation and upgrading and seek for healthy and sustainable development;we should adjust the industrial structure in a timely manner in accordance with the trends of supply-side reform and macrocontrol development.Develop a corporate transformation strategy and take full implementation of safeguard measures to find a new way for the coal industry in the context of capacity reduction.This article takes Pingyao Coal Group as its research object and its transformation and development strategy as its main research problem,and strives to give effective strategic guidance for the transformation and development of the entire coal industry,especially private coal enterprises.Pingyao Coal Chemical Group is one of the key private coal enterprises in Shanxi Province.From the perspective of the enterprise,there are problems such as weak information management,lack of innovation and development,lack of talents,difficult human resource management,difficult loans,high costs,and limited financing channels.From outside the enterprise,the rise of clean energy,coal-to-electricity,coal-togas and environmental protection inspection policies have gradually reduced the demand for coal;increased economic downward pressure,the implementation of coal “de-capacity” policies,increased environmental pressure,and many other factors As a result,it is difficult and expensive for the coal industry to raise capital in the capital market,and there is a dilemma for long-term development of enterprise growth.Comprehensive analysis of the internal and external situation of the enterprise,Pingyao Coal Chemical Group's road to transformation and development is inevitable in line with economic development.This article starts with the operating status of the Pingyao Coal Chemical Group,and describes the development status and existing problems of the group.Using the SWOT analysis method to analyze and evaluate the internal and external environment in which it is located,the internal strengths and weaknesses of the company and the opportunities and threats existing externally are identified.On this basis,it provides Pingyao Coal Chemical Group with overall ideas and specific measures for transformation and development,and also proposes corresponding safeguard measures.Pingyao Coal Chemical Group is one of the important private coal enterprises in Shanxi.This article has found a safe,green and scientific coal enterprise transformation road for similar coal enterprises.
