In the increasingly fierce market competition,coal enterprises are in pursuit of a new height of development,blindly seeking to reduce the cost has been unable to adapt to the current development of the new trend of enterprise.After ten years of gold,coal enterprises are faced with the situation of excess capacity and high inventory.Traditional cost management has been unable to solve the current development dilemma of the enterprises,which is not conducive to the enterprises to obtain long-term competitive advantages.Coal enterprises should not only reduce costs from scale development,but also analyze and manage the formation and control of costs from a strategic perspective,so as to transform cost management into strategy.Strategic cost management combines enterprise's cost management with its strategy,reasonably adjusts enterprise structure and allocates enterprise resources,controls cost from the overall perspective,and provides support for enterprise's strategic management activities.With the change of external environment,strategic cost management has become an inevitable choice for large state-owned energy and chemical enterprises,so the case study of Z enterprise's strategic cost management is imperative.This paper use the method of case study to Z coal enterprises as the research object,through the strategic cost management present situation of Z company,using SWOT analysis to the overall strategy and competition strategy positioning analysis,through the internal and external value chain analysis cost information related to the enterprise competitiveness,and on this basis,to the enterprise strategic and tactical cost drivers analysis,think the current Z company market competitive position is weak,weak value chain system,cost management and participation of management is not sound,On this basis,it puts forward improvement Suggestions on marketing,cost control,value chain,and corporate culture construction,providing support for corporate decision-making,so as to achieve the business objectives of the enterprise.The research findings of this paper will enrich the theory and method of strategic cost management and provide reference for the strategic cost management of coal enterprise groups.
