Nowadays,with the rapid development of information,Chinese culture and global culture learn from each other,and the minority culture is constantly learning and absorbing the Han Culture and other cultures.The paper-cut art and embroidery art in Hui people have a long history.Under the influence of the special cultural and geographical environment,the paper-cut patterns and embroidery designs in the Hui people area of Xihaigu,Ningxia,not only have strong regional characteristics It also reflects the cultural content of the ethnic minorities to learn from each other in the process of production and creation.Through combing the relevant literature,this paper finds that in recent years,the relevant contents about the visual communication of folk culture mainly focus on the analysis of the external manifestation of folk culture and under the background of new media How to carry on the more meaningful dissemination to the traditional folk custom culture the suggestion and the opinion.To a certain extent,these studies have paid attention to the current situation of the development of folk culture and the future trend of the development of folk culture,but few studies have been carried out from the perspective of visual communication To some extent,folk culture also reflects the content of cultural identity,and the research on this aspect is relatively weak.Based on this,this paper uses the relevant theories of communication and semiotics to carry out the semiotic analysis of the minority folk culture in Xihaigu area of Ningxia from the visual culture level.Through combing the main folk culture and the main content of Hui people,the paper-cut and embroidery art as the focus of study,analysis of paper-cut patterns and embroidery color use.This paper mainly collects the photos of paper-cut and embroidery works in the museums of Xihaigu area in Ningxia and some families in Hui people,and analyzes and appreciates the visual symbols from the theme,content and expression of paper-cut and embroidery Then excavate the Hui people this ethnic minority group in the visual dissemination process,the visual element design as well as disseminator's viewpoint and manner.Hui People people in the paper-cutting and embroidery content creation,their own will and feelings into the images of visual communication,is the presentation of real life and the creators of their own will to convey.The folk culture in Hui people is not only characteristic of ethnicity,religion and region,but also characteristic of other minorities and Han ethnic group culture.Hui People people,through the external manifestation of folk culture,it embodies the identification and application of other ethnic groups and Chinese traditional culture,which is a comprehensive embodiment of an ethnic group in material and spirit,and a unity of belief and reality.This is in the long-term process of production and life with other ethnic groups learn from each other and the results of integration.
