Sheet metal single point incremental forming is a new kind of flexible manufacturing technology.The technology in sheet metal forming process is not required to mold or only needs the support of simple device.The need of small forming forces and high degree of automation and suitable for parts of the trial production and small batch production,can meet the market demand for the diversity of products and personalized.Currently,sheet metal single point incremental forming quality is difficult to meet the requirements,so we need to analyze the material of the plastic deformation in the process of sheet metal forming mechanism.In this thesis,combined the numerical simulation with experimental research,the deformation of each part of the sheet metal deformation in the process of material conditions and forming performance are analyzed.Some improvement measures are put forward.The main research contents are as follows:Based on the finite element simulation,sheet single point incremental forming of sheet deformation characteristics is researched.The deformation state in each part of the conical part and pyramid material is analyzed,which indicates that in the process of forming sheet metal exist different deformation conditions.And we analyzed tool head diameter influence on forming a state of strain,and concluded that each part of the forming parts material plastic deformation degree can help to know the location of fracture prone to.Through experimental analysis of the influence of different forming parameters on sheet metal forming largest angle,we concluded that the regularity and reasons of feed speed and forming a layer spacing the influence of different shape on the maximum angle of forming,and put forward before forming by increasing the transition area to improve the performance of sheet metal forming.The test also analyzed the tool head friction factors on the tool under the high speed to improve the forming limit,and there is a thinning belt when the forming angle is bigger,which can effect on the properties of sheet metal forming.Then it analyzed the reason why the lateral wall and the bottom has the prone to rupture,when in the process of multi-pass forming straight wall parts path planning is unreasonable.Combined with finite element analysis,it analyzed conical part and the pyramid part thickness distribution along the radial direction and forming.Through the analysis of sheet metal materials in the process of single point incremental forming strain path,we concluded the plastic deformation characteristics and the reasons for the high forming limit.In the experiments on 1 mm thickness of aluminum plate with the grid,the change of the burst out of the grid map are measured and the limit curve of single point incremental forming are draw.And it analyzed the difference of the state of material deformation in different corner radius of pyramid.Then further experiment analyzes the deformation condition of the multi-pass wall material in the process of forming a straight wall,its forming law are obtained.
