Along with the progress of the society,modern information media industry into the diversified development stage,various types of new media is the status of the impact of the traditional paper books,books under severe media competition,and a large number of excellent books in a wide range of variety,version,this makes the paper books also faces pressure from its own market.In this case,book design is particularly important.How to stand out from the numerous books and how to catch the reader's attention all depend on the design of the books by the designer.Good book design should accurately grasp the balance between reason and emotion,technology and art.Printing technology is the basis of the materialization of books and an effective way to increase the value of books.Printing technology is an important condition to form the external beauty of books.Only with the help of appropriate materials and technology can the aesthetic feeling of books be realized.The proper application of printing technology can also enhance the texture of books,improve the visual effects and tactile feelings of books,and enable readers to feel the profound thinking,wisdom and inspiration,and obtain the pleasure of reading.In the new era,book designers should adapt to the development of The Times,from a new perspective to examine book design,pay attention to printing technology,printing technology as a unique design language into the overall design concept,set up innovative ideas.On the choice of books in the design of printing process should be moderate and through inheritance and innovation,create a set of functionality,aesthetics and craft new form for the integration of books,to the dynamic development of book design,increase the books design to a new,better state,for the future of paper books for a broader space for development.
