As one of China’s major energy industries,the coal industry has an important impact on China’s economic development.In recent years,coal production has been unstable and unstable,and compared with other industries,it has a high accident rate.Under such fluctuations,the operation and profitability of enterprises are severely challenged.In order to make the coal industry develop steadily,it is necessary to improve the on-site production efficiency and the manager’s crisis management ability.To achieve this goal,the middle management of the production department should be the first person responsible for the mining of the mining area.In addition to the leadership,it must have flexibility and competence.This is the reason for choosing to study the competency model of the middle managers in the production departments of coal enterprises.In view of this,this paper uses theoretical analysis,questionnaire survey,data analysis and enterprise application method to study the competency model of middle management of coal enterprise production department,and analyzes the relationship between competency and work performance.The application model was used to evaluate the competency status and job performance of the middle management personnel in the L production department.Firstly,through the role-playing of middle-level managers,the requirements of the coal industry characteristics for the middle managers of the production department,and the open questionnaires for managers,40 competency elements were obtained.After the investigation and preliminary test,34 elements were formally formally investigated.In the questionnaire,the formal questionnaire will be distributed to the middle management personnel of the production departments of the five coal mines.The collected data will be tested for reliability and validity first,and the validity of the questionnaire will be verified.Secondly,using the principal component analysis method in SPSS23.0 software,factor analysis is carried out on 34 competency features,and six competency factors are extracted,which are coal industry skills,overall consciousness,relationship establishment,multi-dimensional promotion,auxiliary subordinates,excellent Character,build a competency model and determine the weight of each factor.The model was subjected to confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)using AMOS24.0 software,and the model was established with higher model fitting.Next,using the factor analysis method to analyze the job performance questionnaire of the middle management of the coal enterprise production department,and obtain the three dimensions of task performance,relationship performance and adaptive performance.Using the Pearson product difference correlation method,the correlation between the 6 factors of competency and the 3 dimensions of job performance is analyzed,which proves that there is a significant positive correlation between competency and job performance.Explain that the purpose of improving work performance can be achieved by improving the competency characteristics,which indirectly affects corporate performance.Finally,according to the obtained competency model,the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process(fahp)is used to analyze the competency status of the middle managers of the L enterprise production department,and the overall competence of the L enterprises is better.And the enterprise evaluation system is used to evaluate the performance of the middle management personnel in the production department.Finally,the relationship between the competency characteristics of the middle management personnel of the L production department and the work performance is obtained.The overall performance of the L enterprise is higher.The evaluation provides an improved direction for companies to recruit,select,train,and improve job performance.
