As climate issues become increasingly prominent,countries are struggling to find ways to reduce emissions for sustainable development.The conclusion of the Paris Agreement clearly defined the goal of achieving carbon neutrality globally in the middle of this century.As a large carbon emission country,China's emission reduction situation is not optimistic.Compared with various emission reduction methods,CCUS technology presents huge emission reduction potentials,which is the emission reduction technology that countries focus on.Large-scale commercial deployment is the development goal of CCUS technology.At present,the development of this technology is limited by high costs and other economic factors.The cost analysis and research of CCUS technology can clarify the overall idea,and make it easy to find the key point of technology cost reduction.Since CCUS is a technology combination with a wide range of fields and complex contents,domestic research on CCUS is mostly divided into modules.Based on the predecessors,this article sorted out the relatively complete CCUS technology system,summarized the cost elements of the CCUS system,and collected the cost data of each module of the CCUS technology.Using comparative analysis,from the perspective of cost economy and technology maturity,the current and future CCUS system module optimal technology options are listed.From the perspective of the entire project planning period,a total cost model of the CCUS system was constructed.The model takes into account the impact of project financing costs and the potential benefits of captured CO2 on total costs.This paper selects a large-emission steel plant as a CCUS project pilot plant for case study.Under the assumptions,the cost economy of the CCUS project introduced by the steel plant is measured.Use the sensitivity analysis method to measure the uncertain factors that have a greater impact on the total cost of CCUS technology.Based on this,suggestions and potential mechanisms for reducing the total cost of CCUS are proposed.Research has proved that the proportion of CCUS project grants,the revenue generated by the utilization modules and the carbon price in the carbon trading market have a great impact on the cost of CCUS.Among them,the biggest uncertain factor is the revenue generated by the utilization modules,which shows that the research and development efforts should focus on CCUS utilization modules.At this stage,the lack of funding sources is still an important reason for the slow commercialization of the CCUS project.The scale of the grants greatly affects the promotion of the project.In the initial stage,the government should assume the responsibility for providing initial funds.In order to encourage enterprises to bring in CCUS projects to achieve emission reduction,the government should increase emission reduction subsidies,establish a strict carbon emission system,strengthen the standardization of polluting enterprises,and increase the carbon market transaction price.
