Spiral bevel gears have the advantages of high transmission accuracy,low noise and high bearing capacity,so they are widely used in key mechanical transmission fields such as automobile,aviation and machine tools.In the process of arc tooth wimbles gear mill tooth machining,cutting force is an important influencing factors,the size of the cutting force will directly affect the milling gear cutting process of cutting vibration,tool wear and life and the deformation of machine tool and so on,further affect the quality of surface of spiral bevel gear machining,ultimately affect the performance of spiral bevel gear.Therefore,the processing load analysis of spiral bevel gears can provide theoretical data for the design and development of machine tools.In addition,by studying the change of cutting force in the cutting process,the machining parameters can be further optimized,the machining quality and the machining accuracy of gears can be improved.In this paper,the cutting force calculation and analysis method of curved bevel gear with surface milling technology are studied.Firstly,according to the geometric principle of forming method and the characteristics of chip deformation,a calculating method of cutting force in the process of spiral bevel gear end face milling was put forward.Then,according to the metal cutting theory and the bevel cutting theory model,combined with the milling movement process of spiral bevel gear,the complex mechanical model of the milling process is transformed into a simple model,and then the simple model is numerically solved to form a quick solution program.Finally,the program results are compared with the simulation results to evaluate the feasibility and correctness of the two methods: quick solution and computer simulation.This article main research content is as follows:(1)By studying the forming method of spiral bevel gear milling machining principle and the geometrical principle of movement,cutting tool and the workpiece movement and geometry model;combining the theory of metal cutting and gear processing principle,was built based on oblique cutting model and arc tooth wimble gear wheel forming processing cutting force calculation model.based on this,write the forming wheel processing spiral bevel gear cutting force calculation program,finally,the interior and exterior cutter tooth of spiral bevel gear cutting force calculation.(2)According to the generating method machining small spiral bevel gear wheel of the geometric model and metal cutting theory,based on the big wheel forming processing spiral bevel gear train of thought for studying the cutting force calculation model,established a small round shape surface equation and small round surface taper equation;and has set up a small wheel machine tool coordinate system,through the meshing equation was deduced instantaneous deformation calculation formula of chip cutting width;by the motion trajectory of cutter tooth on instantaneous deformation not chip derived the calculation formula of cutting thickness,again according to oblique cutting model,set up a small round arc tooth wimble gear generating method processing cutting force calculation model.(3)Based on the finite element numerical simulation of metal cutting technology,using special metal cutting software Advant Edge FEM for forming processing spiral bevel gear cutting process has carried on the finite element simulation analysis,based on the single factor experiment method to study the same feeding under different cutting speed and cutting speed under different feeding influence on cutting force,in order to optimize the processing parameters study provides a certain reference value.(4)According to the established theoretical calculation model,the influence of machining parameters under different conditions on the theoretical cutting force was studied.By comparing the theoretical analytical calculation results with the finite element simulation data,the error size and variation trend were analyzed,thus verifying the correctness of the model established in this paper.
