With the gradual improvement of people's living standards,people's requirements for the appearance of goods have also increased.The outer packaging of a commodity no longer only carries the role of holding the commodity or protecting the commodity from damage before being used.The combination of the packaging design of the commodity and the illustration will make the commodity add some added value beyond the use value.When packaging specialty foods,how to make better use of regional culture to make products conform to modern aesthetics and have more prominent competitiveness among similar products has gradually become a new direction that designers pay more attention to.Folk culture is the crystallization of wisdom gradually accumulated by a nation in the long historical evolution,which contains the cultural connotations of the nation's eating habits,location,national beliefs,and the nation's yearning for a better life.This is also an inexhaustible cultural treasure trove for creators when designing works with a strong tendency to folk style.In the current era of picture reading,people are more inclined to obtain information quickly through pictures,and at the same time,they are more pursuing personalized spiritual satisfaction.This makes the form of combining illustration art design and commodity packaging regained the favor of merchants,and its unique form of expression is also popular with consumers.The packaging design of folk food can also use this method to show its unique folk cultural charm.This article will use the literature research method to study the development process of illustration art and the characteristics and functions of commercial illustrations.At the same time,combine the development process of food packaging design to study the functions and effects of commercial illustrations in the field of food packaging design,and use case analysis to analyze some Excellent success stories to explore the value and use of commercial illustrations in food packaging design.Discover and summarize the unique folk cultural characteristics of the Korean people by combining the literature research method with their own life experience summary,and use the design practice method to adopt the elements of the Korean folk culture with auspicious meaning and the colors commonly used by the Korean people And color matching method for illustration creation.In the end,it is hoped that through the design practice of Yanbian Korean pastry packaging design,a packaging design work suitable for Korean characteristic pastries will be provided,which will provide a feasible idea and reference plan for the future packaging design of Korean characteristic pastries.Discover and summarize the unique folk cultural characteristics of the Yanbian Koreans by combining the literature research method with their own life experience summary,and use the design practice method to adopt the elements of the Yanbian Korean folk culture with auspicious meaning and the colors commonly used by the Yanbian Korean people and color matching method for illustration creation.Finally,it is hoped that through the design practice of Yanbian Korean pastry packaging design,a packaging design work suitable for Yanbian Korean characteristic pastries will be provided,which will provide a feasible idea and reference plan for the future packaging design of Yanbian Korean characteristic pastries.
