The forming precision of 6061 aluminum alloy corrugated groove directly affects the quality of spinning of corrugated tube sleeve.In this paper,the process and parameters of cold roll forming of corrugated groove are studied.The method used in this paper is the explicit finite element method.The forming process of corrugated trough sheet metal was analyzed by finite element software ABAQUS,and the effects of forming speed,friction coefficient and bending angle increment on corrugated trough forming were investigated.The equivalent stress and strain of the corrugated sheet through different passes were analyzed by FEM simulation software ABAQUS,which was used to simulate the bite process,the first stage,the second stage and the third stage.The bending region with the largest equivalent strain was found,and the equivalent stress and strain of a unit in the bending region were investigated.The influence of process parameters on corrugated groove was investigated.The results show that the forming process of the corrugated groove is actually the forming process of the bending angle,which is mainly affected by the transverse bending deformation,and the equivalent strain in the area of the bending angle on the right side of groove 2 is the largest.The equivalent strain of narrow groove is larger than wide groove in the same forming stage,and it is easier to have redundant deformation.The equivalent stress of each groove changes periodically and the equivalent strain increases in trapezoidal shape.The maximum equivalent stress value occurs before contact with roller.By analyzing the influence degree of three main parameters of bending angle increment,friction coefficient and forming speed,it is found that there are three factors among them: Bending angle increment > Friction coefficient > Forming speed.Animation simulation and experimental verification were carried out.Based on the roll forming of corrugated groove and the analysis of the influencing factors,the design parameters of 6061 aluminum alloy corrugated groove with given performance specification are determined,and the animation simulation and experimental verification are carried out,it is verified that the precision of corrugated groove and forming corresponding sleeve can meet the actual demand of industry.
