As an international enterprise,S company is a global leader in providing rolling bearing and sliding bearing solutions,linear and direct drive technology,and a well-known supplier of high-precision products and systems in the automotive industry's engine,transmission and chassis applications.This thesis mainly focus on the analysis of the actual situation of GA production line of S company,especially for the defects and deficiencies of line layout,process flow,spot management,the purpose is to rebuild the line balance by related research and actions accordingly.The environment of marketing makes changes and the operation costs always keep increasing which make GA products face with huge challenge of competitiveness.As a non-waste and just in time production model,lean production becomes a more important method for strategic achievement.To carry out lean production,the benefit is to improve customer satisfaction,flexibility manufacturing,productivity improvement,WIP reduction,morale enhancement of the staff,save the production supplies,etc.This thesis take method of theoretical analysis combined with actual practice based on theory of lean production and line balance.According to actual requirement from both marketing demand and production situation,this thesis choose a certain product as the priority to carry out line balance research and actions.it makes use of methods about layout optimization,CT and motion analysis,industry engineering,etc.To offer an improved proposal for GA production line,and get the performance of low cost,high efficiency and quick response running.There's same reference function for other products of GA production line by this thesis,and can extend this theoretical value and direction to other lines of S company.
