Production process optimization is an important way to improve enterprise competitiveness. Production process optimization can raise productivity, reduce unnecessary waste, improve employee productivity, and then promote the continuous production of enterprises,improve enterprise market competition.Lost-wax process is also known as Precision Investment Casting, which has a long history in our country. It has the advantages that no other casting process can claim,so it is widely used in our country. With the development of social productive forces,the quality requirement of precision casting in our country is getting higher and higher. At the same time, long production process of investment casting and many factors affecting product quality lead to poor quality control of casting products. H factory is a small and medium sized investment casting enterprise, which produce casting about 2000t every year. Recently, H factory has met many problems in production. It included not to meet customer order time requirements, production costs are too high and others. In order to solve the above problems, to maintain the survival of enterprises in market competition, it is very necessary to optimize production process for H factory.In this paper, it use program analysis job analysis, motion analysis, time study and field management method of industrial engineering to research on the production process of the investment casting process of H factory. The purpose is to find out the problems in the production process and put forward optimization and improvement plan. The main research content of this paper is as follows:Firstly, put forward the background of the research and introduce the research methods and direction of IE used in improving production home and abroad.Secondly, it analysis the production situation of H factory. Mainly analyzes the production process basic production conditions and problems in production process of H factory.Last, it use program analysis, job analysis, motion analysis, time study and field management method of industrial engineering to to research on the production process of the investment casting process of H factory. Then it propose optimization plan.The improvement of production process of H factory mainly includes three aspects:The first aspect, production process optimization. It includes optimization of production order and optimization of production process.The Second, improvement of the efficiency of bottleneck station. Through program analysis, job analysis, motion analysis, time study to bottleneck station to improve production efficiency.The third, optimization of field management. Implement the "5S" method to optimize the field management. Through the optimization of H factory to maximize the production efficiency of H factory, to reduce cost, to enhance market competitiveness.Finally, it summarize production process improvement of H factory and propose next work plan at the end of the paper.
