Advanced machining technology is the foundation of contemporary industry and national defense industrialization,is the latest achievements of modern science and technology,the current CNC processing technology in China's modern manufacturing industry is widely used.Drum knife as a new type of tool relative to the ball head knife in the processing of complex surface has certain advantages,for example,in order to meet a certain accuracy,drum knife can choose far greater than the line width of the ball head knife,so in terms of processing efficiency is more prominent,and in some curvature changes in surface processing drum knife can still be applied,so the drum knife research is of great significance.In the CNC processing process,in order to obtain higher processing accuracy and better surface quality,it is of great significance to evaluate the rationality of processing parameters before the actual processing.When the mill is machined,inter-line residue is produced in the step direction,and the intermittent distribution of the cutting edge of the milling cutter also produces fan residue in the direction of supply.Taking the drum cutter as an example,the mathematical model and machining model of the drum cutter are established,and the calculation method of calculating the fan residual height of down milling and reverse milling is given,taking into account the difference between the residual height of the down milling and the reverse milling.The real motion trajectory of the drum cutting edge and the influence of the direct influence factors per tooth intake,the drum knife radius and the number of drum cutting edges on the fan residual height were studied.Indirectly affecting the influence of drum-shaped knife input speed and drum-shaped knife speed on fan-shaped residual height,MATLAB was used to simulate the surface of milling work pieces and analyzed the relationship between the above factors and fan-shaped residual height,which provided a certain basis for evaluating the rationality of drum-shaped knife processing parameters.
