Electromagnetic shielding fabrics have a broad market in today,especially pregnant women's shielding clothes and electromagnetic shielding tents.Electromagnetic shielding fabrics have the functions of conducting electricity and shielding electromagnetic waves besides the soft and breathable properties of traditional textiles.The commonly methods of metallization of fabrics are:coating,blending,sputtering and electro less plating.In this paper,the surface of polyamide and polyester fabrics is coated with copper by electroless plating,so that the fabrics have some properties of metal.When electroless plating metal on textile materials,it is necessary to make the surface of materials have catalytic activation point,so that the subsequent metal layer can continue to"grow"metal layer on the surface of materials with catalytic activation point as the growth point.Dopamine is a common material surface modification material,which has good adhesion and reduction performance,and can chelate with metal ions.It can not only adhere to the substrate,but also reduce metal ions.However,dopamine is expensive,which is not conducive to industrial mass production At the same time,tannic acid with the function of chelating metal ions and low price was used to replace dopamine to modify the surface of nylon and polyester fabrics.In recent years,tannic acid has been gradually accepted in the field of material surface modification due to its adhesion and wide source.Based on the study of tannic acid on the surface modification of nylon fabric,the effects of high temperature and high pressure treatment,UV irradiation reduction and other treatment methods on the surface electroless copper plating of nylon fabric were studied.In order to confirm the feasibility of tannic acid electroless plating,based on the electroless plating on the surface of nylon fabric,the effect of tannic acid treatment on the surface of polyester fabric with lower surface activity was studied,and then electroless copper plating on the surface was carried out.In this paper,the adhesion of dopamine and tannic acid and the properties of chelating metal ions are used to modify the surface of textile fabrics(nylon fabric and polyester fabric),and then electroless copper plating is carried out on the surface of the fabrics to realize the metallization of textile fabrics.The main contents are as follows:1.The effects of dopamine placement time and the concentration of silver nitrate on the surface modification of polyamide fiber were investigated;2.The coating quality of the copper-plated polyamide fabric prepared by the reduction of dopamine,glucose and sodium borohydride was compared,and the reduction method with good coating quality and environmental protection was found;3.To prepare the catalytic activation layer of tannic acid,it is necessary to chelate with Fe3+first,and then chelate with Ag+to prepare the nano silver reduction layer.In this paper,the steps are simplified to explore the feasibility of directly chelating tannic acid with Ag+and then electroless copper plating.;4.Orthogonal tests were designed to explore the effects of tannic acid placement time,p H value,tannic acid concentration and Ag-Ammonia solution concentration on the preparation of catalytic layer and electroless copper plating,and the optimal test combination was obtained.The effects of ultrasonic shock on the reaction between tannic acid and Ag-Ammonia and the swelling treatment of nylon fabric on the final copper plating layer were also investigated;5.The effects of UV illumination time and distance on the preparation of catalytic activation layer by reduction were investigated,and the effects of different temperature under high temperature and pressure on the chelation reaction of tannic acid and metal ions were investigated;6.To explore the effect of tannic acid on electroless copper plating on the surface of polyester with lower surface activity,to apply the better conditions of tannic acid on the surface of nylon to polyester fiber for electroless copper plating,to explore the feasibility of treating polyester fiber with tannic acid for electroless copper plating.
