Graphite is one of the allotropes of carbon.Because of its good corrosion resistance,radiation resistance,electrical conductivity,thermal conductivity,and lubrication,it is widely used in metallurgy,chemical industry,machinery manufacturing and other fields.In recent years,with the progress of research on graphene materials and the large-scale promotion of new energy vehicles,there has been a wave of graphite research.The thesis takes large scale flake graphite mine in Myanmar as the research object.Through experiments,it provides a suitable graphite flotation process for this type of large scale graphite mine production,and provides a theoretical basis for the graphite production in this area.The thesis takes large scale flake graphite mine in Myanmar as the research object.First,the ore is subjected to rock ore identification analysis,chemical composition analysis,X-ray diffraction analysis to determine the mineral composition,element content,target mineral and gangue mineral inlay size of the ore With the chimeric relationship,etc.Secondly,on the basis of its physical and chemical properties analysis,conduct the experimental research on the best conditions for rough separation and the best conditions for selection,and finally the research on the rapid flotation test,and analyze the final concentrate through XRD,XRF,SEM and other characterization methods.1)Process mineralogical studies have shown that the graphite+0.150 mm distribution rate of large flakes in the ore is 67.94%.The graphite content in the ore is25%?30%,the quartz content is 20%?23%,the kaolinite content is 26%?29%,and there are also a small amount of pyrite,plagioclase and muscovite.2)Through the study of the rough separation process,the best rough separation conditions were determined as follows:coarse abrasive grade-0.074 mm content was59.61%,sedimentation separation particle size was 10?m,flotation concentration was25%,and crude kerosene consumption was 176 g/t,crude 2~# oil consumption is 73 g/t.The fixed carbon content of graphite coarse concentrate is 60.22%,the recovery rate is93.76%,the fixed carbon content of tailings is 2.34%,and the recovery rate is 3.43%.The condition test of the additive amount of sweeping agent determined that the optimal adding amount of kerosene in the sweeping process was 44 g/t,and the optimal adding amount of sweeping 2~#oil was 36 g/t.The yield of sweeping concentrate is low,and it is directly merged with the coarse concentrate to enter the regrind and reselection process.The selection process is 3 times and 4 times selection.The final concentrate has a fixed carbon content of 93.07% and a recovery rate of 86.97%.The+0.15 mm content of the concentrate product is 43.02% and the+0.074 mm particle size content is 57.74%.3)Through the research on the dosage of the rapid flotation process,the amount of kerosene added to the rapid flotation collector is 132 g/t;the amount of the oil added to the rapid flotation foaming agent 2~# is 54 g/t;It is 44 g/t,and the added amount of crude foaming agent 2~# oil is 18 g/t.At this time,the fixed carbon content of the rapid flotation product was 61.46%,the yield was 35.73%,and the recovery was 65.70%,of which the content of+0.27 mm was 20.01% and the content of+0.15 mm was 43.55%.4)The rapid flotation process is as follows:the rapid flotation product skips the selection I and directly enters the regrind II,and the flotation process of the rough separation product remains unchanged.The final fixed carbon content of the rapid flotation process was 92.17%,the yield was 32.04%,and the recovery rate was 88.56%.Compared with the normal flotation process,the rapid flotation process showed that the fixed carbon content of the concentrate slightly decreased,but the concentrate Both the recovery rate and the concentrate yield have been improved,and the large-grain content of the concentrate in rapid flotation has increased.5)The main minerals in graphite flotation concentrate are graphite and a small amount of kaolinite and quartz.The surface of graphite flake particles is clean and the particle size is uneven,mostly between 100?m and 180?m.Through the research on the flotation rate of different grades of graphite,it was found that the flotation rate constant k of different grades of graphite showed a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.
