China's entire coal industry actively responds to national policies,and through2016-2018 withdrawing 810 million tons of outdated production capacity,it means that the coal industry has entered the stage of overcapacity prevention.How to effectively avoid the occurrence of overcapacity phenomenon,the path proposed by the researchers is: adopting standard market order,reforming the current assessment system,etc.Theory and practice have proved that the most fundamental path is to increase the supply-side structural reforms to improve the overall performance of the coal industry.Factor productivity refers to the stimulation of market demand through scientific research innovation,technological innovation,process innovation and product innovation,thereby increasing its capacity utilization rate.Therefore,this article aims to analyze the internal mechanism of the relationship between total factor productivity and capacity utilization,systematically analyze the relationship between the two at different times,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions with reference value based on the analysis conclusions.This paper first reviews the existing literature from research perspectives such as the measurement of total factor productivity and capacity utilization,the formation mechanism of overcapacity,and the relationship between capacity utilization and total factor productivity;secondly,it sorts out the existing literature from the types of coal mines,the corporate structure of the coal industry,and the output of the coal industry.Analyze the development status of the coal industry in Shanxi Province from the dimensions of need;third,put forward research hypotheses on the basis of revealing the internal mechanism of capacity utilization and total factor productivity;fourth,five listed companies with relatively large influence Take for example.The CES production function were used to calculate the capacity utilization rate and total factor productivity of five listed coal companies from 2006 to 2019.The vector autoregressive model was used to empirically study the relationship between the two changes,and based on the empirical analysis.The conclusion puts forward policy recommendations.
