With the rapid development of social economy in recent decades,the variety of steel products is becoming more and more abundant,and the demand for high-quality and high value-added steel is increasing rapidly.High sulfur content is an important factor affecting the quality improvement of steel.Therefore,hot metal desulfurization technology has been paid more and more attention by iron and steel enterprises.KR process hot metal pretreatment desulfurization technology has been widely used because of its high desulfurization efficiency and good economic benefits.In the process of KR process,the water temperature of steel drops rapidly in the desulfurization process.In order to achieve the desulfurization goal in a short time,high requirements are put forward for equipment and automatic control system.Based on the experience of advanced technology,equipment and automatic control at home and abroad,a set of KR desulfurization automatic control system is designed and developed:(1)Analyze the desulfurization process system and define the control requirements of Kr desulfurization automatic control system.(2)Power supply and distribution design of electrical system,such as double incoming power supply,motor control,variable frequency drive,etc.It provides a guarantee for reliable control of process equipment.(3)According to the requirements of the control system for the reliability and accuracy of instrument detection,the key instrument selection is carried out.(4)Software and hardware design of PLC control system.Siemens S7 PLC is adopted,and the programming software is STEP 7.Industrial Ethernet communication and Profibus-DP Field bus communication are designed.Monitoring is realized by message and PLC program,and real-time and fast communication between distributed equipment and slave station and CPU is realized.(5)The Chinese version of Siemens Win CC is used to develop HMI interface,which realizes the real-time,friendly and barrier free communication between production and maintenance personnel,PLC and distributed equipment,and lays a solid foundation for the realization of desulfurization production target.The KR process hot metal pretreatment desulfurization control system has been applied in Shagang,which shows that the system is effective and feasible.
