| In order to study a new type of gun propellant with high energy and high burning rate,three kinds of high burning rate functional materials SY、NHN、W were added to the formulation system of high energy gun propellant.According to the application requirements of high-energy gun propellant for formula components,the basic properties of high burning rate functional materials are studied and the applicability of the materials in gun propellant is analyzed.The influence of high burning rate functional materials on the burning rate characteristics of high-energy gun propellant was studied by closed bomb experiment,and its influence on the comprehensive performance of high-energy and high burning rate gun propellant was investigated.The energy performance,mechanical performance and safety performance were mainly studied.The influence of high burning rate functional materials on the thermal decomposition process of high energy gun propellant was studied by means of TG,DSC and ARC,and the mechanism of increasing burning rate was explored by means of stop burning test and SEM.The results show that:(1)The applicability test results of three high burning rate functional materials SY,NHN and W in high energy gun propellants show that,the main physical and chemical properties,sensitivity characteristics,compatibility with gun propellant components and other basic properties of the three functional materials can meet the use requirements,and can be used as high burning rate additives in the formulation system of high energy gun propellant.(2)At room temperature,high temperature and low temperature,the three high burning rate functional materials SY,NHN and W can effectively improve the burning rate of the gun propellant.Under the condition of 3%,the burning rate of the gun propellant is increased by25%,15% and 35% respectively;Under the condition of 4% of SY,5% of NHN and 5% of W,the burning rate of gun propellant increased by 30%,17% and 52% respectively.The high energy and high burning rate gun propellant samples have good combustion stability,the combustion law of high and low temperature is normal,and the samples added with SY and W showed a certain increase in combustion.(3)The test results of high burning rate functional materials on the comprehensive properties of gun propellants show that,When SY,NHN and W were added into the formulation system of high energy gun propellant,there was no obvious change in the powder force,and each sample had higher impact strength and better mechanical properties;The impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity can meet the use requirements,and the safety performance is good;the outgassing volume of the vacuum stability test of each sample is less than 2ml/g,and the stability is good.(4)The results of TG,DSC and ARC thermal analysis showed that the addition of SY,NHN and W promoted the thermal decomposition of NC in the composition of gun propellant,and the amount of final decomposition residue was significantly reduced,and the thermal decomposition reaction was more thorough.Through the calculation of thermal analysis kinetic parameters,the apparent activation energy of the gun propellant samples with high burning rate functional materials decreased in varying degrees.(5)The results of the stop combustion test and SEM show that the combustion surface of the samples with high burning rate functional materials has different degree of cavitation,which leads to the increase of combustion surface and the formation of convection combustion,so that the burning rate is increased. |
