Heavy-duty scraper conveyor is the key equipment of modern mechanized coal mining.As the key component of carrying coal material,the chute is subjected to friction between coal material and scraper chain in the conveying process of coal,resulting in serious wear.Its wear is also the remote cause of other faults,such as chain,broken teeth,and so on,which causes the scraper conveyor to stop and renovate,thus affecting the working efficiency and causing economic losses.Therefore,it is very important to study the wear mechanism of chute and the wear analysis of various factors.Through theoretical analysis and computer simulation,this paper analyzes the sliding wear characteristics of the chute conveying area.It provides the basis for improving the wear resistance of chute and the selection of the middle plate material.In this paper,the discrete element simulation method is used to analyze the force and wear characteristics of chute conveying area.Based on the three-body wear theory,the wear in the process of conveying coal in chute is studied,and the factors affecting the wear in chute conveying area are obtained.The EDEM software is used to establish an analysis model,and the simulation model is verified by comparing the main wear area of the simulation with the physical wear of chute.In order to further analyze the force and wear of chute in the conveying area,the multi-factor wear simulation test of chute conveying area is carried out by combining the orthogonal test method,and the influence of each factor on the wear of chute is analyzed.The coal particle size has the greatest influence,coal hardness followed,followed by chain speed and gangue content has the least influence.And the optimal and worst working conditions in the research range are obtained.Through the control variable method,the stress and wear characteristics of chute conveying area under different working conditions(coal hardness,coal particle size,gangue rate,scraper chain speed)are studied from three levels,and the influence of each factor on the wear of chute conveying area is obtained.Finally,a method of reducing the wear of chute is proposed,that is,adding a wear-resistant layer to the plate of chute.ZGMn13 is selected as the wear-resistant layer material of chute plate.Based on the results of orthogonal experiments,the process of transporting coal in chute under the optimal and worst conditions in the research range is simulated,and the force curve graph,wear depth cloud graph and average wear depth graph of chute is obtained.The force characteristics and wear characteristics of the plate before and after adding the wear-resistant layer are compared and analyzed.It is concluded that the wear of the plate in chute after adding the wear-resistant layer is more than twice less than before.Especially the wear-resistant layer material is more effective to improve the wear of the plate in chute under bad working conditions.The feasibility of this method is verified.
