Vibrating inclined plate thickener is a kind of device which can settle,concentrate and separate solid particles from liquid effectively,it has stable operation and large processing capacity.In this paper,the dynamic model of the system is established based on the lumped parameter and finite element method as well as test results,the vibration characteristics of the thickener are studied under different working conditions.Besides,the analysis results are verified via experiments,Computational Fluid Dynamics(CFD)and Discrete Element Method(DEM)are combined to simulate the movement of particles in the inclined plate box of thickener under different parameter.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)In this paper,the stiffness and damping of rubber isolators are tested by means of electronic universal testing machine and damping test bench built on site respectively.In order to obtain the relationship between horizontal stiffness and vertical stiffness,the nonlinear stiffness and damping ratio of different types of rubber isolators are gainned by measuring.(2)The dynamic equation of vibrating inclined plate thickener is established based on the lumped parameter method,and the Runge Kutta method is used to solve the equation.The vibration acceleration,velocity and displacement responses under nonlinear and constant stiffness are compared and analyzed.In addition,the effects of excitation force amplitude,excitation frequency,damping ratio and stiffness on vibration characteristics under nonlinear support stiffness are discussed,and obtained the trajectory of the center of mass of the vibrating swash plate thickener at different excitation frequencies.(3)The three-dimensional finite element model of vibrating inclined plate thickener was established by distributing the mass of inclined plate box module.The influence of different types of rubber isolators on the natural characteristics of vibrating inclined plate thickener and the strength of thickener under different excitation frequencies was analyzed.The amplitude frequency response characteristic curves of thickener at different positions were obtained by using of harmonic response analysis,and compared with the test results to verify the effectiveness of the simulation results.(4)The movement law of pulp particles in inclined plate box under different feed flow rate and dynamic friction coefficient is analyzed via Computational Fluid Dynamics and Discrete Element Method,combined with fluid solid coupling theory,which provides an important theoretical basis for the optimization of thickener working parameters and structure.(5)The industrial application tests of thickener in air and water environment were carried out in concentrator,and the vibration responses of thickener at different positions under two working conditions were analyzed.The test results are compared with the harmonic response analysis results.Considering the working conditions of thickener,the motor speed can be selected in the range of 1980-2040r/min(excitation frequency is 33-34Hz),and the stiffness of rubber isolator can be selected in the range of 1500-1640N/mm.
