The modern industry is gradually moving towards the direction of refinement,information and automation,and the requirements for surface treatment are getting higher.As a kind of flexible polishing material,nonwoven polishing material has many advantages,such as simple production process,high production efficiency,wide source of raw materials,strong corrosion resistance,and good fit with special-shaped workpiece.However,The existing polishing materials made from nylon fiber can not fully meet its requirements.Therefore,this project explores the possibility of a new material used in polishing materials in the future.Rubber has excellent elasticity and stability.Therefore,it has great potential in the field of nonwoven polishing materials.Rubber has excellent elasticity and stability,and has a wide range of applications.However,rubber is in a high elastic state at room temperature,and its glass transition temperature is below 0 ℃.The fiber products are easy to flow at room temperature,which leads to adhesion at the rubber fiber joints,and the morphology is difficult to be preserved for a long time.Therefore,there is little research on rubber fiber.As a new technology of preparing micro and nano fibers,solution blow spinning has the advantages of low energy consumption,simple process,flexible operation and high production efficiency,which is suitable for large-scale industrial production.In solution blow spinning,thermoplastic materials are usually used as raw materials,or a variety of raw materials are used for overspinning to meet some requirements.In this paper,BR fibers were prepared by electrospinning.In order to improve the spinning efficiency,BR fibers were prepared by solution blow spinning.Then,the BR fibers with smooth surface and long-term shape was prepared by solution blow spinning and UV crosslinking.Finally,polystyrene and BR were blended to improve the spinnability and mechanical properties of BR fiber.The main research contents are as follows.The BR fibers prepared by electrospinning were curly,and the adjacent fibers stick together.So it is difficult to keep the morphology stable for a long time.The effects of spinning solution concentration,spinning voltage,solution extrusion rate and receiving distance on spinnability and morphology diameter of BR fibers were investigated.The results show that when the concentration of spinning solution is 10%,the extrusion rate is 1 m L/h,the spinning voltage is 10 k V and the receiving distance is 15 cm,the morphology of BR fiber is relatively good,and the average diameter of the fiber is 5.45 μm.In order to improve the spinning efficiency,BR fibers were prepared by solution blow spinning.The BR fiber are easy to flow at room temperature,which makes adjacent fibers stick together,and the morphology is difficult to keep stable for a long time.In this paper,cis-1,4-methylpropane tris(3-mercaptopropionic acid)ester(crosslinking agent)and 2-methyl-1-(4-methylthiophenyl)-2-morpholinyl-1-acetone(photoinitiator)were added into the BR solution.The BR fiber were prepared by solution blow spinning and UV crosslinking.The surface of crosslinked BR fibers are smooth and cylindrical,and the adhesion between fibers is reduced.The results show that the rubber fiber can keep good morphology even after soaking in THF solution for 24 hours.The average diameter of the crosslinked fiber is 2 ~ 3 μm,When the concentration of crosslinking agent is 12%,the fiber is the thinnest with an average diameter of2.41 μm.The crosslinking density of BR fibers was measured and analyzed by equilibrium swelling method.With the increase of crosslinking agent content,the crosslinking density of BR fibers was increased.Considering the effects of spinning solution concentration,draft air pressure,extrusion rate and receiving distance on BR fibers,the optimal spinning conditions are as follows: the spinning solution concentration is 6%,the draft air pressure is 0.3MPa,the extrusion rate is 11 m L/h,and the receiving distance is 30 cm.In order to solve the problem of poor mechanical properties of BR fibers,the paper tried to blend polystyrene with BR,and to press the PS/BR fibers.The effects of polystyrene addition ratio and hot pressing treatment on the morphology and mechanical properties of PS/BR fiber were investigated.The results showed that the mechanical properties and wear resistance of BR fibers were effectively improved by adding polystyrene.When the mass ratio of PS to BR was30:70,the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the fiber were the best,the tensile strength of the fiber was 1.88 MPa,the elongation at break was 328%,and the wear resistance times were 27.the apparent morphology of the fiber was effectively improved.When the ratio of PS to BR was 40:60,the diameter distribution was more uniform,and the average diameter was 1.54 μm.The mechanical properties and wear resistance of PS/BR fibers can be improved significantly by hot pressing,but when the mass ratio of PS to BR exceeds 30:70,the elongation at break decreases.When the mass ratio of PS to BR is 30:70,the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the fiber were the best.At this time,the tensile strength of the fiber was2.43 MPa,the elongation at break was 375%,and the wear resistance times were 31.
