Product Characteristics And Innovative Design Of Dai Brocade

Dai brocade carries the philosophy,art and wisdom of life of the Dai people.Dai brocade with its long history and culture and ethnic style characteristics make it unique in the minority brocade.The inheritance of Dai brocade by successive dynasties must have its special place and its own value,but the tide of modernization makes the skills of Dai brocade face the dilemma of decline,so it is of great practical significance to protect and carry forward the excellent culture of Dai brocade.This paper made a more comprehensive analysis of the historical culture,technical specifications,color performance,pattern characteristics and other aspects of Dai brocade,and on this basis,combined the development and innovative design of jacquard fabrics with modern production methods to improve the production efficiency of Dai brocade.To adapt the characteristics of Dai brocade to modern aesthetics,aiming to explore the innovative development of Dai brocade.This paper explored the development source of Dai brocade,analyzed and compared the differences between Dai brocade in four different regions at home and abroad and the reasons for the differences,including political environment,market economy,religious beliefs and geographical location.In addition,the paper studied the technological characteristics of Dai brocade,including the weaving skills and technical specifications of Dai brocade,and analyzed the fabric structure characteristics of Dai brocade.This paper explored the color performance of Dai brocade,collected 52 photos of Dai brocade,established a color library of 225 colors,used the exported web format in Photoshop and the improved K-Means algorithm to extract the main colors.The HSB model,PCCS color system and NCD color system are used as the theoretical basis.The 225-color Dai brocade color library is established in three color systems to establish a one-to-one correspondence.The attributes,styles and emotional semantics of Dai brocade colors are studied to obtain the color characteristics of Dai brocade.Next,analyzed the pattern characteristics of Dai brocade,extracted patterns from 67 pieces of Dai brocade materials,and obtained92 individual patterns of Dai brocade,and classified them,and analyzed the modeling,visual grammar,and composition expression of the Dai brocade patterns,get the characteristics of Dai brocade pattern.And the pattern subject,get the characteristics of Dai brocade pattern.Finally,based on the researched Dai brocade crafts and artistic characteristics,the jacquard fabric design and development of Dai brocade products were carried out,and finally 4 kinds of patterns were designed,and a set of products including table flags and tea coasters were combined and matched.Each set of products provides 6 colors.,And select a set of colors for the craft weaving of jacquard fabrics.According to the above methods,the conclusions obtained in this paper include the following aspects:(1)This paper makes a more detailed and comprehensive analysis of the weaving techniques and technical specifications of Dai brocade.The raw materials used in Dai brocade include cotton,silk,metal wire,etc.The warp thread density is mainly distributed in the range of 20-40 tex,the weft thread density is mainly distributed between 50-130tex;the warp and weft density is mainly concentrated in 110-140roots/10 cm,This makes the Dai brocade finished product looser.The ground weave is a plain weave,and the flower weave is a kind of weft similar to the double weft.The warp yarn and the ground weft are merged in a similar way,mainly in the form of single single strand and single double strand.The extra weft requires 5-6 wefts to merge to make the pattern float on the ground structure.Therefore,the Dai brocade has the appearance of unevenness.The width is generally in the range of 20-35 cm.The total number of warps is mainly distributed between 400 and 450 roots.(2)In the study of the color characteristics of Dai brocade,it was found that the Web exported format in Photoshop was suitable for the primary extraction of the main color from the photos with large memory,and the optimized K-means algorithm was suitable for the secondary extraction of the main color.In this paper,three color systems are used to analyze the color of Dai brocade.The color Angle of Dai brocade is mainly distributed in 0-60° and 330-360°.The lightness is mainly concentrated in the area of 21%-100%;The 0-10% area of low saturation and 61-90% area of medium and high saturation are relatively high,and the 91-100% area of high saturation is the least.In the PCCS color system,the color distribution is mainly concentrated in(VP +LGR + DGR +P+L+ DK +S),and the overall color style is simple,bright and warm.In the NCD color system,the color of Dai brocade tends to be cool in the cold-warm axis,and the color distribution is more balanced in the soft-hard axis.The color emotion of Dai brocade gives a natural and elegant,classical and elegant feeling.(3)The design of the Dai brocade pattern follows the three rules of shape-simulation,fit-for-law,and equilibrium.The subject matter of the pattern is mainly divided into five categories: geometric patterns,animal patterns,plant patterns,character patterns,and architectural patterns.Geometric patterns are the most frequently used,with a total proportion of more than 60%,and architectural patterns are the least frequently used,with a total proportion of only 3.13%.Pattern composition includes individual and continuous.Among them,the individual patterns are symmetrical and asymmetrical.Symmetrical patterns are the main ones,which account for nearly 90%.In the composition form,the continuous pattern is the most frequently used pattern,accounting for 89.13%,while the individual pattern only accounts for 10.87%.(4)Based on the analysis of the characteristics of Dai brocade,the article designs4 traditional Dai brocade patterns,and uses a two-party continuous arrangement to design a series of products including table flags and tea coasters,using two different color matching method for color design,and finally 6 color matching schemes are obtained,and one of the color matching color cards is selected to be used in product weaving.In the organization design,the beige yarn and the dark blue yarn are arranged in a 1:1 manner,and the weaving method of double weft is adopted to realize the presentation of different lightness colors by changing the organization.In the end,a set of table runners and tea coasters was obtained,with good physical effects,fine texture,and natural color patterns.
