In this paper,styrene butadiene rubber(SBR)and polyvinyl chloride(PVC)as the main research object,The effects of PVC polymerization degree,processing technology,NBR compatibilizer,CPE compatibilizer and maleic anhydride polybutadiene copolymer(rubber additive 1731 HS)on the physical and mechanical properties,dynamic mechanical properties and microstructure of SBR/PVC elastomer were studied.It provides certain method guidance and theoretical basis for the research of rubber and plastic alloy products.The influence of polymerization degree and process of PVC on SBR/PVC elastomer was studied.The results show that when the polymerization degree of PVC is 1300,the mixing ratio of SBR/PVC rubber and plastic is 80/20,and the mixing temperature of SBR and PVC is 165 ?,the comprehensive performance of SBR/PVC elastomer is good.Therefore,1300 was taken as the main polymerization degree of PVC,the mixing ratio of SBR and PVC was 80/20,and the mixing temperature was 165?,which was used as the preparation process for subsequent experiments.The effect of NBR acrylonitrile content on the properties of SBR/PVC elastomer was studied.The results showed that NBR4050 with 40% acrylonitrile content had the best compatibilization effect on SBR/PVC elastomer with the highest tensile strength of 19.45 MPa and elongation at break of 472.4%.The tear strength is 47.51 N/mm.The glass transition temperature(Tg)of SBR phase and PVC phase are-38.04 ? and 46.13 ?respectively on the tan?-T curve,which show close to each other.SEM images show that the phase domain size of the section is relatively small,there is no obvious phase separation state between the two phases,the phase interface is fuzzy,and the volume augmentation effect is good.The effect of NBR4050 content on the properties of SBR/PVC elastomer was studied.The results showed that the tensile strength and tearing strength of SBR phase were 19.67 MPa and 43.13 N/mm when the content of NBR4050 was 20 phr.The glass transition temperature Tg of SBR phase on the tan?-T curve was-38.15?.The PVC phase Tg is 29.75?,and the two glass transition temperatures are close to each other.SEM shows that the cross section of the elastomer is relatively smooth,the phase domain particle size is relatively small,the phase interface is relatively fuzzy,and there is no obvious two-phase separation.The compatibilization and modification effect of the two-phase is the best.The influence of chlorinated polyethylene(CPE)on SBR/PVC elastomer was studied.The results showed that the tensile strength of SBR/PVC elastomer increased first and then decreased with the increase of CPE content.When the content of CPE was 5 phr,the tensile strength reached the highest of 17.21 MPa.The Tg of the SBR phase increased from-40.10 ? to-37.95 ? in the blank sample,while the Tg of the PVC phase decreased from 91.40? to 85.21? in the blank sample,showing a phenomenon that the two glass transition temperatures are close to each other.The effect of 1731 HS additives on SBR/PVC elastomer was studied.The results showed that when 1731 HS additives were 5 PHR,the tensile strength,elongation at break and hardness of 75 were 16.88 MPa,422.9%,respectively,and the comprehensive mechanical properties were the best.The Tg of SBR phase is-33.04?,and the Tg of PVC phase is 99.32?,showing the phenomenon of close to each other.SEM results show that the plane of the elastomer is smooth without obvious pit-holes,the particle size is small,the edge is smooth,the interface of the matrix is smooth,the interface of the two phases is fuzzy,and the compatibilization effect is the best.
