Grinding as the last process of machining,its processing effect affects the final performance of the product.With the rapid development of industrial technology and the continuous breakthrough and innovation of materials,variety of new materials with high strength,high hardness,corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance emerge as the times require.In order to realize the precision machining and ultra precision machining of these materials and meet people's demand for high precision and high quality products,grinding technology is widely used in the processing of this kind of materials.After fully studying the grinding performance of ordinary grinding wheel,grooved grinding wheel and the processing characteristics of 300 M steel,a new type of compound grooved grinding wheel is proposed in order to reduce the influence of the surface quality degradation caused by the grooved grinding wheel,and the grinding wheel is manufactured.Firstly,according to the characteristics of 300 M steel grinding easy to burn,based on the grinding temperature model of ordinary grinding wheel,the relationship between the maximum theoretical temperature of grinding zone and groove size,groove proportion and processing parameters is determined by analyzing the change of contact length between groove grinding wheel and workpiece and introducing heat distribution proportion.Secondly,the groove processing technology of compound grinding wheel is studied.In this paper,laser ablation method is used to process grinding wheel groove.Focusing on the laser scanning processing times,scanning speed,laser power and other parameters were studied,the processing parameters which meet the requirements of this paper were determined,and the ordinary grinding wheel groove processing was carried out,which provided a guarantee for the follow-up experiments.Finally,the grinding performance of grooved grinding wheel is studied,and the grinding experiments of ordinary grinding wheel,full grooved grinding wheel and compound grooved grinding wheel are carried out respectively.The grinding temperature,roughness and grinding force of three kinds of grinding wheel are analyzed and compared.The experimental results show that the new compound groove grinding wheel can not only effectively reduce the grinding temperature,but also ensure the surface quality of the workpiece,and improve the comprehensive grinding performance.
