Integral end mills are more and more used in the machining of aero-engine impeller blades because of their good cutting performance.In the process of grinding the spiral groove,with the increase of grinding times,the grinding wheel will wear,which has an impact on the accuracy of the spiral groove parameters.The accuracy of the spiral groove parameters plays a key role in the cutting performance of the tool.Therefore,in order to detect the worn sand profile,according to the contact line principle of grinding wheel surface and spiral groove surface,image processing technology was used to extract the edge point coordinates of spiral groove end section,and MATLAB software was used for fitting,so as to realize the solution of the worn sand profile.In this paper,the extraction and fitting of the coordinates of the edge points of the section of the spiral groove end are studied.The image is collected by using a super depth of field microscope,and the median filter and binarization are selected to preprocess the image according to the characteristics of the image noise.Mathematical morphology is used to locate the edge,and Harris algorithm is used to determine the edge to realize the edge detection of the section contour of the spiral groove end,in which the sub-pixel edge detection could ensure the image accuracy.MATLAB is used to complete the extraction and fitting of the edge point coordinates of the spiral groove section.Secondly,according to the forming principle of spiral grooves and the contact relationship between grinding wheel surface and spiral grooves surface,the abrasive profile solution is studied.The contact line equation of grinding wheel surface and spiral groove surface is established,and the characteristics of the grinding spiral groove curve of the worn grinding wheel are analyzed.Based on this,the numerical solution of rotation Angle v_p is realized.According to the grinding wheel wear profile's solving steps,two typical examples are used to describe the algorithm in detail.Then,the effectiveness and practicability of the algorithm are verified by the combination of experiment and simulation.The simulation is completed by Numroto grinding simulation software,and the re-engraving experiment is carried out on a Saccke five-axis tool grinder.The results of the simulation and experiment are analyzed.Finally,the relationship between the grinding wheel durability and grinding wheel dressing of three different types is described.The influence of grinding wheel wear on spiral groove parameters is analyzed,and the three most direct parameters are blade width,rake Angle,and core diameter.In order to realize the prediction of grinding wheel wear shape,a GUI prediction platform for grinding wheel wear shape is established based on MATLAB.The reverse algorithm of the grinding wheel wear shape in this paper provides a theoretical basis for solving the grinding wheel wear shape.
