As an important part of the high-speed train bogie,the axle box bearing of high-speed railway has a significant impact on the safe operation of the train.The outer ring of the axle box bearing is one of the important components of the bearing.It is subjected to loads such as tension,bending,and torsion during work.Its manufacturing quality directly affects the service reliability of the bearing.my country's high-speed train bearings mainly rely on imports.One of the main reasons is that the influence of the forging forming process of the bearing ring on the forming quality is still not deep.This paper adopts the method of combining theoretical analysis,simulation technology and experimental research,taking the outer ring of the axle box bearing as the research object,researching the structure and performance of the rolling stock,the ring blanking and rolling process,and further improving the forming process.,Improve the quality of domestic bearings.The main research methods and conclusions are as follows:(1)To carry out research on the uniformity of composition and performance of rolled steel for bearing outer rings.For the ?120 mm rolled steel used in the outer ring of the bearing,samples are prepared from the surface to the core to carry out material inclusion detection,metallographic structure observation,chemical composition analysis,etc.The results show that the material has serious negative segregation of C element,large number of inclusions,and large volume in the range of about ?34 mm in the core of the rolled material.The mechanical properties of the material show anisotropy,and the mechanical properties of the axial specimen are relatively smaller.The mechanical properties of the sample are good.(2)Design the forging process for the outer ring of the bearing.According to the outer ring channel forming method,two forging processes are designed.The first process plan includes upsetting,punching,reverse punching,shaping,reaming and rolling.The outer ring blank size is ?120 mm×220 mm,and the upsetting ratio For 1.83,the second process plan includes upsetting,extrusion forming,punching and continuous skinning,shaping and rolling,and equipment selection and process parameter design,which lays the foundation for the subsequent development of bearing outer ring forging process simulation.(3)Carry out the simulation of the forging process of the bearing outer ring.The simulation results show that the simulation results of the forgings are similar to the physical forging streamline distribution,and the simulation method is feasible;the second process plan is more uniform than the first process plan for the structure and mechanical properties of the forging.The forging quality is high when the upsetting ratio is 1.82 in the upsetting process,the forming effect is good when the main roll speed of the rolling process is 7 rad/s,and there is less outcrop phenomenon after the raceway side streamline machining when the die inclination is 10°.This paper considers the uniformity of the structure and performance of the rolling stock of bearing steel in the forging process of bearing rings,and compares two commonly used ring forging process schemes,and deepens the understanding of the forging process of bearing rings,which is useful for improving domestic production.The quality of axlebox bearings for high-speed trains has important engineering guiding significance.
