Abstract/Summary:
Ions play a vital role in maintaining the physical health of the human body. With the continuous development of food safety, environmental monitoring and medical and health fields, people have put forward higher requirements for ion detection methods.Compared with traditional ion detection methods,ion-selective optical sensors have the advantages of high sensitivity, fast response speed, small size, simple and convenient preparation, etc. They have great potential in biological analysis, and have been rapidly developed.Soft matter is a substance between a solid and an ideal fluid, which has a large effect on small effects.Soft materials have also been widely used.Although the ionselective optical sensor based on the soft material hydrogel exhibits a unique detection method, the problems of dye leakage and collapse of the structure after dilution cannot be solved due to the limitation of the sensor composition.Aiming at the shortcomings of these applications, this article explores the construction methods of ion-selective optical sensors and the relative performance of the sensors. The main contents are as follows:(1)Based on another soft material, organosilica,a simple and efficient method for preparing small particle size and high monodispersion organosilica nanoparticles is developed. The relationship between the properties of organosilica nanoparticles and the amounts and types of basic silicon sources and surfactants, the types of silicon sources with different functional groups, reaction time were explored.(2)Three solvatochromic dyes with different lipophilicity were designed and synthesized, and the dyes were connected to the organosilica nanoparticles using click reaction.(3)Calcium and potassium ion optical sensors based on organosilica nanoparticles were prepared. These sensors can respond to target ions and the detection range, sensitivity, selectivity of the sensor are related to the lipophilicity of the dye.(4)Using sensor particles connected with fluorescent dye molecules for cell imaging, the sensor particles can smoothly enter the cells, and dye leakage was not observed in the cell, the particles cytotoxicity is also very small. The successful construction of ion-selective optical sensors based on organosilica nanoparticles provides a solution to the problems of ion optical sensors: using organosilica nanoparticles to solve the instability problem of the common surfactantplasticizer system;connect the dye and the organosilica nanoparticles by covalent bond to solve the dye leakage problem of the sensor. It also provides a new construction platform for ion-selective optical sensors, and has broad application prospects in ion detection in cells.
